'Grey's Anatomy' star Jesse Williams welcomes third child, first with wife Alejandra Onieva
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: 'Grey's Anatomy' star Jesse Williams has once again become a father as he seemingly revealed the news via an Instagram post on Monday, September 28.
The 45-year-old is already a father to two children — 11-year-old daughter Sadie and son Maceo, 10 — with his ex Aryn Drake-Lee. But he shares his third child, who is also his first with his current wife, Alejandra Onieva, a Spanish actress.

To share the happy news, Williams shared a video on his social media page, where he reenacted a scene from Spike Lee’s 1989 film, ‘Do the Right Thing’. He was seen opening a refrigerator filled with baby bottles as Onieva and a group in the background can be heard speaking Spanish.
The ‘Hotel Costiera’ star then says, “English! English, alright I want my son to speak English,” before adding, “Bad enough his name is Hector.”

Onieva re-posted the same video on her Instagram Story. She also shared a video, showcasing her son’s feet.
This came after, in May, it was reported that the pair were expecting a child after they were spotted grocery shopping at Whole Foods on Friday in Los Angeles. At the time, the 34-year-old actress was seen flaunting her baby bump in a cropped white top underneath a baggy blue denim jacket.
Later, Onieva confirmed her pregnancy by posting several photos and videos of herself, rocking her baby bump. She captioned them as “✨vida✨,” which means “life”.

Williams and Onieva reportedly quietly tied the knot earlier this year. The actor was earlier married to Drake-Lee.
But their marriage ended on a bitter note as they went their separate ways in 2017, before finalizing their divorce in 2020. The exes were granted 50/50 joint legal custody of their two children.

Williams had once reportedly said, “You try to make sure to expand on the good and try to reduce things that were scary or negatively influenced you and protect your kids without rendering them unprepared for the realities of their life.”
“So all of that stuff is informative, and I think all parents can relate to hearing their own parents in their voice as they parent. I definitely find myself surprised at how often I sound like my dad or mom,” he added.
