Halle Berry’s ex Olivier Martinez reportedly stormed out of court during restraining order hearing
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Halle Berry’s ex-husband, Olivier Martinez, reportedly stormed out of court on Tuesday, October 20, during closed testimony in their domestic violence restraining order hearing.
The French actor, 60, appeared agitated and distressed as he left the Los Angeles County Superior Court alongside his lawyer, Patrick Baghdaserians.
The hearing concerns allegations involving the former couple’s 13-year-old son, Maceo, and their ongoing custody dispute.

According to Page Six, Martinez could be heard using profanity during an animated discussion with Baghdaserians about the testimony before the two went to the restroom. They returned roughly five minutes later.
Jon Hay, a staff member at the school Maceo attends, was scheduled to testify in closed court on Tuesday.
Hay had previously raised concerns about the teenager’s behaviour at school, according to a recent court filing.
Berry, 60, also took the stand on Tuesday, while Martinez is scheduled to testify as well. The judge agreed to close the courtroom during testimony involving the minor child or sensitive medical issues.

The former couple reportedly kept their distance during court appearances, exchanging cold glares on Monday. Maceo testified in person for nearly four hours on the first day of the hearing.
Berry’s 18-year-old daughter, Nahla Aubry, is expected to testify later this week.
Nahla, Berry’s daughter with model Gabriel Aubry, 50, previously defended her mother in a court declaration. She wrote that she had “never seen my mom physically abuse Maceo in any way.”
When Judge Shelley Kaufman asked whether the declarations submitted by both parties were agreed upon, Martinez’s legal team argued that Berry’s declaration was “riddled with hearsay” and requested that it not be admitted as evidence.

Halle Berry and Olivier Martinez clash over abuse claims
Earlier this month, Martinez filed for a temporary restraining order against Berry, accusing her of becoming violent with their son during a September 26 incident.
He claimed Berry called Maceo “such an idiot” for playing games on a virtual reality headset before allegedly grabbing him by the neck and choking him.
“She grabbed Maceo by the neck and started choking him while shouting, ‘Who is dominant now?! Who is dominant?!'” Martinez alleged in court documents.
Berry denied the allegations through her attorney, who called them “entirely meritless and deliberately misleading.” Martinez is seeking restraining orders for himself and his son, as well as sole custody of Maceo.

Berry, meanwhile, is seeking sole legal custody and wants the court to restore her authority over major decisions in the teenager’s life.
Potential additional witnesses include Berry’s fiancé, Van Hunt, school staff, therapists, and medical professionals.
Berry’s attorney also cited the “minor’s propensity for dishonesty” as a reason for calling certain witnesses.
Despite the emotional exchanges during Monday’s proceedings, Berry left court smiling, while Martinez walked out without acknowledging his ex-wife.
