Hannity denies Trump flew on Epstein's jet despite DOJ records
NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Fox News host Sean Hannity claimed on Tuesday, January 13, that Trump never flew on Jeffrey Epstein’s private jet, despite recently released Department of Justice records showing Trump’s name appeared multiple times on the plane’s flight logs.
Hannity claimed during a televised interview with House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer, as the committee continues to examine Epstein’s connections to influential figures.
🚨UPDATE: I have scheduled an Oversight Committee markup for Wednesday, January 21, to hold President Bill Clinton in contempt of Congress for defying a lawful, bipartisan subpoena.

Sean Hannity disputes Trump–Epstein flight history
During the interview, Hannity repeatedly highlighted former President Bill Clinton's association with Epstein while discussing the Oversight Committee’s investigation.
“I’m seeing pictures of Bill Clinton all over the place with young women in a hot tub, mystery women, women sitting on his lap in Jeffrey Epstein’s plane,” Hannity told Comer.
“I think he has some explaining to do, considering so many people wanted Donald Trump to answer, no?”, Hannity added.
Comer agreed, saying public interest in the Epstein case remains high.
“The American people are interested in this. They want to know the truth,” Comer said. “This subpoena wasn’t just issued by me. It was voted on unanimously by the Oversight Committee. Every Democrat in that committee voted for this subpoena.”
“Donald Trump never flew on the plane, from what I understand, either,” Hannity then said during the exchange.

Earlier Tuesday, Bill and Hillary Clinton said they would not comply with a subpoena issued by the committee, citing their objections in a letter.
“Every person has to decide when they have seen or had enough and are ready to fight for this country, its principles and its people, no matter the consequences, for us, now is that time," the Clintons wrote.
Comer has indicated that the committee may seek contempt of Congress charges if the Clintons refuse to comply.
Statement in sharp contrast with DOJ records
Hannity’s statement stands in contrast to Justice Department material released earlier, which indicated that Trump’s name appeared on Epstein’s flight logs at least eight times, a figure higher than previously known.
The disclosure included disclosure from an assistant US attorney, which stated that Trump had traveled aboard Epstein’s private jet more frequently than earlier reports suggested.
“Donald Trump traveled on Epstein’s private jet many more times than previously has been reported (or that we were aware),” the email read.
The documents were released as part of the DOJ’s partial compliance with a law passed by Congress and signed by Trump in November 2025, requiring the department to disclose all Epstein-related files, with only victims’ names and images redacted.
According to reports, less than one percent of the total material has been made public so far.
The Justice Department has also faced criticism for limiting access to Epstein case materials, with lawmakers and advocacy groups pressing for fuller transparency.
