WASHINGTON, DC: Political strategist Steve Bannon recently asserted that MAGA supporters should be "prepared to go to prison" during his keynote address at the Patrons for American Statecraft Conference in Washington, DC on March 15th.

In his speech, he further mentioned that former President Donald Trump is not flawless and proceeded to describe him as an "instrument of divine providence."

Currently, Bannon is challenging a felony conviction and a four-month jail sentence for purportedly evading a congressional committee subpoena regarding the attack on the US Capitol on January 6, 2021.

During the speech, Bannon said, "The political class in this city cannot deal with the problems we face. This is why they hate Trump. Trump's not perfect. He's far from perfect. That he's an instrument of divine providence is no doubt in my mind because I was there. I saw it."

He added, "No money, no organization, a plane, a man, a message, and just go around and people listened because he connects to them and he shows you the multi-ethnic, multiracial coalition we can put together, particularly if we focus on the economics of it."

He further stated, "You can't just talk about deconstructing the administrative state, you have to do it. You have to take on the deep state. You have to do it. You have to be prepared to go to prison. I've got prison sentences all over."

Significantly, in 2020, Bannon was arrested aboard a Chinese billionaire's yacht and charged with defrauding supporters of the 'We Build the Wall' initiative.

The initiative had pledged a privately financed border wall, which ultimately turned out to be nonexistent.

After receiving a pardon from President Trump, he evaded federal charges. However, once New York State assumed jurisdiction, he will face trial in May on charges of money laundering, criminal conspiracy, and a "scheme to defraud" related to the alleged scam, as per MSNBC.

or @DOJCrimDiv or someone in the legal arena should visit Bannon" whereas one mentioned, "Bannon should be prepared to go to prison."

A user commented, "Encouraging civil engagement is important, but it's essential to uphold the rule of law and democratic principles in pursuing political goals."
