WASHINGTON, DC: President Joe Biden attributed Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's struggles to dealing with a serious problem rather than engaging in political posturing when asked for his current opinion on the Gaza War, which is making his reelection more difficult, according to the Daily Mail.

Notably. after brief remarks on his new executive order on immigration and asylum claims, the president took a question. Staking fresh ground on a subject that has generated issues during his reign, he pulled the off-topic inquiry out of a battle of shouted inquiries that followed the event.

If the embattled Israeli prime minister was "playing politics with the war," a network reporter asked to which Biden responded, "I don’t think so. He’s trying to work out a serious problem he has."

Notably, it came after Biden was questioned whether Netanyahu was extending the battle for his survival in a recent Time Magazine interview, which was done on May 28.

Biden said, "I'm not going to comment on that. There is every reason for people to draw that conclusion." He then brought up an internal political dispute in Israel over a constitutional court.

He added, "And so it's an internal domestic debate that seems to have no consequence. And whether he would change his position or not, it's hard to say, but it has not been helpful."

However, he didn't seem eager to call out Netanyahu for taking accountability for the horrifying Hamas attack that took place in Israel on October 7.

Biden said, "I don't know how any one person has that responsibility. He was the leader of the country, so therefore, it happened. But he wasn't the only one that didn't pick it up."

Moreover, Donald Trump said on October 7 that it 'should have never happened' but it did 'on [Netanyahu's] watch'. Senior Democrats worry that the Israeli war in Gaza may highlight divisions within their party, as the conflict may run at least until November's elections in the United States. Netanyahu has promised to wipe out Hamas.

Internet slams Biden for his mixed messages

Many people on the internet slammed Joe Biden as he delivered mixed messages on Benjamin Netanyahu's approach towards the Gaza war.

Some of the online comments read, "The only person ‘playing politics’ with the Gaza conflict is Biden who plays both sides to maximize votes for him," and "Biden isn't personally affected when Hamas rearms quickly and strikes Israel again, as they have promised to. If Biden was affected, he would be more concerned."

A user added, "As Joe continues to play on both sides of the fence because he's trying to appease his voters for getting re-elected," whereas one mentioned, "This guy has got to go. He isn’t taken seriously on the world stage."

A person also wrote, "If you support Israel and want it to survive, DO NOT VOTE FOR BIDEN! Yet sadly many will!"
