WASHINGTON, DC: 'Shark Tank' star Kevin O'Leary called the $454 million bond that Donald Trump is facing an "attack on America," according to Daily Mail. Judge Arthur Engoron, according to the 69-year-old seasoned investor, is in charge of a "dress-up court with kids running a Halloween party with no adult supervision."

This comes as Trump's attorneys stated that it was impossible for the ex-POTUS to post the hefty bond by the March 25 deadline in his civil fraud case. Meanwhile, New York Attorney General Letitia James said she will seek to seize some of the White House hopeful's assets if he fails to pay the penalty.

Kevin O'Leary says investors were left 'completely disturbed' after Donald Trump's New York civil fraud case verdict

O'Leary attacked Trump's "extraordinary penalty" in two interviews with Fox News. During one of them, he said, "This is the United States of America under Siege. This is an attack on America and I don’t know how you can look at it any other way."

He added, "And as an investor, and I know plenty of investors who are completely disturbed by this… But no one is going to put any money to work in New York in these amounts until this thing settles down."

Judge Engoron ordered the former president to pay $355 million plus interest, resulting in $454 million, after he was found to have participated in a decade-long conspiracy to conflate the worth of his assets. He also barred Trump for three years from serving in any top roles at any New York company, including his Trump Organization.

During his second appearance on 'Fox and Friends' on Friday, March 22, O'Leary reiterated his comments, saying, "I tell people this is no longer anything to do with Donald Trump whatsoever. This is the American brand. We are the number one economy on Earth because we provide stability through transparency. Guarantee of law and property rights."

He further asserted, "Here is a situation getting focus around the world of a particular case, does not matter it is Donald Trump, where an individual has had against an infraction duly high penalty, many people feel on a bipartisan basis, probably infringed on the eighth amendment, not been tested yet and that is where the problem lies."

"Don’t commit crimes, and you will be fine," mentioned a person, while someone else pointed out, "Funny … come after the money and now it’s a problem."

An individual remarked, "Sounds like someone has a few skeletons in their closet!"
