WASHINGTON, DC: As the 2024 presidential elections draw near, contenders are intensifying their efforts to secure the coveted position in the White House. However, a historian has put forth an intriguing proposition suggesting that President Joe Biden may emerge victorious once again.

During a public address recently, President Biden candidly addressed concerns about his capabilities, affirming his competence to fulfill his presidential duties and asserting the soundness of his memory. Nevertheless, an unfortunate misidentification occurred when he mistakenly referred to the leader of Egypt as the President of Mexico.

Additionally, Biden has recently sparked discussions on social media platforms following remarks by Fox News host Sean Hannity, who asserted that Democrats and Biden are facing setbacks in connecting with young voters, indicating a potential shift in voter sentiment.

Joe Biden has a higher probability of winning, historian says

According to Fox News, Allan Lichtman, a renowned election historian with a track record of accurately predicting nearly every presidential race since 1984, has devised a formula that effectively forecasts upcoming presidential elections, often with remarkable precision.

Lichtman's 'Keys to the White House,' as reported by Fox News, comprises 13 true or false questions designed to gauge the likelihood of success for each presidential nominee in the upcoming election. Each question pertains to the two opposing candidates, with a 'true' response earning a 'key' for that candidate, and a 'false' response benefiting their opponent.

Currently, President Biden holds five of these 'keys,' positioning him favorably in the presidential race, according to Lichtman's analysis, while former President Donald Trump secured approximately three. This leaves five 'keys' still undetermined.

President Joe Biden arrives for a memorial service for former first lady Rosalynn Carter at Glenn Memorial United Methodist Church at Emory University on November 28, 2023 in Atlanta, Georgia. Rosalynn Carter, who passed away on November 19 at the age of 96, was married to former U.S. President Jimmy Carter for 77 years. In her lifetime she was an activist and writer known to be an advocate for the elderly, affordable housing, mental health, and the protection of monarch butterflies. Fox News outlines Lichtman's 'keys' as follows: party mandate, contest, incumbency, third party, short-term economy, long-term economy, policy change, social unrest, scandal, foreign/military failure, foreign/military success, incumbent charisma, and challenger charisma.

As detailed by Fox News, Biden automatically receives a point for incumbency, corresponding to key number three. Additionally, Biden earns another 'key' for not facing any significant third-party or independent primary challenge.

Furthermore, President Biden receives 'keys' for achieving real per capita economic growth during his term that equals or surpasses the mean growth over the previous two terms, as well as for implementing policy changes during his presidency, according to Lichtman's criteria, as reported by Fox News.

Fox News also notes Lichtman's accurate predictions, including forecasting President Trump's victory in the 2016 election and subsequently predicting President Biden's win in the 2020 presidential election against Trump.

Internet users assert Donald Trump will win

Numerous users went on to call out Lichtman's prediction about Biden winning the 2024 elections on Facebook.

A user wrote, "Nice try fox news but he will be wrong the first time and Trump will win November period."

Another seemingly suggested that Biden will be in prison soon and wrote, "Hard to lead from prison."

A user commented, "Well, that may be true if the election is kosher but if more votes than registered voters get counted that prediction would be false. 🤨"

Someone else noted, "Trump is already passing Bidumb big time in key states."
