MANHATTAN, NEW YORK: On Wednesday, May 22, former President Donald Trump declared that those crossing the border between the United States and Mexico are carrying contagious diseases with them, according to NBC News.

The 2024 presumptive GOP nominee stated in an interview with New York radio station WABC, “They’re coming in as terrorists. Many, many terrorists are coming in, and people are coming in with very contagious disease.”

“You know, like it’s all of a sudden you see there’s a run on tuberculosis. There’s a run on things that we haven’t talked about for years in this country,” the 77-year-old added.

Donald Trump’s laundry list of unsubstantiated claims goes way back

Last year in September, the MAGA strongman asserted in an interview with The National Pulse that illegal immigrants are “poisoning the blood of our country,” referring to diseases that are brought in through the southern border.

The ex-president reiterated his downright despicable claims at a New Hampshire rally in December, “It is a very sad thing for our country. It’s poisoning the blood of our country. It’s so bad, and people are coming in with disease. People are coming in with — with every possible thing that you can have.”

In Wednesday's interview, Trump maintained that migrants crossing the border and entering the United States are speaking unfamiliar and unknown languages.

“We have no idea who they are, where they come from,” Trump remarked, adding. “We have no idea. They speak languages we don’t even know about. We have people with languages that we know nothing about. It’s crazy.”

The excessive and violent rhetoric regarding the unmanageable southern border has become a standard rally speech for the former POTUS in the lead-up to the November general elections.

He frequently claims that those who cross the border are from "mental institutions" and "insane asylums."

The embattled former President vows to implement more restrictive border regulations and often alludes to the surge in migration from South and Central American nations.

Last week, during his speech at the annual conference of the National Rifle Association, Donald Trump declared that he would transport prisoners and criminals to America "faster than them" if he were the leader of a nation in South America.

“The ones in South America that are sending all of their criminals and their prisoners and their gangs into our country — intelligently,” Trump remarked. “I’d do the same thing if I was there. I’d do the same. I’d do it faster than them.”

Trump has pledged to support local law enforcement in border areas and collaborate with them, but he has not specified what particular policies he would implement to strengthen border security.

His scathing criticism of President Joe Biden's handling of the border remains unabated and it remains a staple of Trump’s fundraising emails and advertisements.

Donald Trump blasted for accusing migrants of entering US with 'contagious diseases'

Another person quipped, "I will no joke cry with laughter if all the Qult members start wearing masks because of this."

Another person claimed, "The dude has h***es and he's projecting."

One person remarked, "I have a feeling for some strange reason that he doesn't give two flying f**ks about infectious disease spreading."

Another person said, "He’s still fuming about the ge**tal w**ts he caught from Melania I see."

Finally, this person wrote, "Melanin. He’s referring to that deadly disease that racists don’t stand a chance against. /s"
