Hilaria Baldwin addresses ‘gold digger’ claims, says she’s ‘not that way’
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Hilaria Baldwin has broken her silence on the allegation that she’s a “gold digger” as she's married to the much older Alec Baldwin.

Hilaria Baldwin says she consistently turned down Alec Baldwin's offers to buy her things
About the claim, she said that it hurts her because she’s “not that way. He, from the beginning — I don’t think I’ve ever said this — but he would always try to buy me things, and I would be like, ‘No, I don’t want this.’”
Hilaria and Alec have been married since 2012. They are parents to seven children — Carmen, 12, Rafael, 10, Leonardo, 9, Romeo, 8, Eduardo and Maria Lucia, 5, and Ilaria, 2. Alec also shares a daughter, Ireland, 30, with his ex-wife, Kim Basinger.
At the time of their marriage, the yoga instructor was 27 and used to live in a small apartment in New York City, while the ‘Rust’ star was 52 and well-settled in his career.
Hilaria Baldwin claims gold diggers don't have seven children
Recalling those times, she shared, “I was like, ‘I don’t want you to buy me something, because I want to know that I like you for you, because I don’t want to be a prisoner either.’ Like hello, it’s two ways: People who go into that, they get stuck in a really bad situation. And I was like, ‘I need to know that I want to be here.’”
During the podcast, Hilaria also claimed that her seven children with Alec prove that she’s not a gold digger.
She told hosts Danny Murphy and Evan Real, “I think that that is like the test. Like, guys, are you still going to call me a gold digger? I mean, first of all, seven kids, not what gold diggers should do. Have one, then get out. Don’t have seven, cause they’re very expensive.”
Hilaria Baldwin calls her children 'little Baldwins' who 'don’t know simple things'
Elsewhere during the podcast, the author revealed that she recently took a trip with all her children but without her famous husband or a nanny.
“We’re there and my kids, who are like little Baldwins, don’t know simple things that never occurred to me, like how to load a dishwasher. Now, granted, they’re young, but I knew how to do that. And clean a floor, don’t make a big mess when you’re eating. All this stuff that I’m not used to having to do for them,” she stated.
Hilaria further divulged that she asked her brood to learn basic life skills.
“I had to bring them back to my roots, where I met Alec, and being like, ‘Hey, you know what? You need to learn how to do things on your own so you don’t get stuck in something,” she said.
“Now it’s not their fault. They don’t have a choice. This is how they’ve been raised. So now we’re in a process of going back to that. And they know not to put all the cups right side up in a dishwasher,” the mom of six added.
