He then outlined a series of promises he had previously made and now intended to fulfill, including sending troops to the US-Mexico border, boosting domestic oil production, and imposing tariffs to "enrich our citizens".

"Our sovereignty will be reclaimed. Our safety will be restored. The scales of justice will be rebalanced, Our top priority will be to create a nation that is proud, prosperous and free," he said.

One of his most striking announcements was the declaration to rename the Gulf of Mexico to the Gulf of America. This statement grabbed attention after viewers noticed the reactions of Hillary and Harris.

In the viral videos, Hillary can be seen bursting into laughter at the renaming announcement, while Harris, seated in front of Clinton, looks at Trump intently. Meanwhile, Bill Clinton leaned toward Hillary, while Doug Emhoff and Joe Biden sat without showing any expression.

During his address, Trump also criticized the nation's past leadership as corrupt, stating, "We now have a government that cannot manage even a simple crisis at home, while at the same time stumbling into a continuing catalogue of catastrophic events abroad."

He concluded by asserting that he was uniquely positioned to fix the country's problems: "All of this will change starting today, and it will change very quickly."

Trump also announced that the name of Denali, the highest mountain in North America, would be reverted to Mount McKinley.
