Joy Villa grabs eyeballs as she attends Donald Trump's Hispanic Inaugural Ball in custom MAGA flag gown

WASHINGTON, DC: Joy Villa turned heads with her customized ‘Make America Great Again’ gown while attending the Hispanic Inaugural Ball ahead of Donald Trump's inauguration.

The singer-songwriter, who has never shied away from showing her support for President-elect Donald Trump, recently cut a striking figure after appearing at the Hispanic Inaugural Ball held at the Omni Shoreham Hotel in Washington, DC.

Opening up about the custom look featuring a royal blue custom gown fashioned out of a Trump “MAGA” flag, the towering songstress shared the look that made her feel “free” and “so sexy.”

Speaking to the New York Post, Joy Villa gushed about her custom Andre Soriano creation, saying, “Everybody goes crazy [for it].”

The striking blue backless dress featured a halter neck design with a thigh-high slit. While the “Make America Great Again” message was scrawled down its front, the dress was fitted with a long train with the word ‘TRUMP’ written in capitals.

Villa further shared with the outlet that she has previously received threats from several people “for being Black and Latina and supporting Trump.”

While she has routinely been asked by women, “How could you support him?” the vocal supporter has remained steady in her path. 

The 38-year-old ‘Vagabonds’ singer said, “All of these hateful people with ‘Trump Derangement Syndrome’ can’t even have discourse.”

Reflecting on Trump’s victory in the election, Villa shared, “This victory feels so meaningful and even sweeter than the first time,” before adding, “Now I feel like we can finally breathe.”

This is, however, not the first time that Villa has rocked a dress in support of Trump. 

Previously, the songstress donned a striking red dress while performing at the #WalkAway ‘Rescue America’ rally in Beverly Garden Park on August 8, 2020, in Los Angeles, California, ahead of the 2020 elections. 

In 2017 also, the ‘Cold Wind’ singer fashioned a similarly blue MAGA dress while attending the Grammys.

Joy Villa's fans too took to the comments section of her Instagram post to praise her dress as they called the gown "iconic."
