LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Hillary Clinton is catching some serious heat after she described the anti-ICE riots in Los Angeles as "peaceful demonstrations.”

It all started when Clinton chimed in on the riots for the first time late Monday, June 9, pinning the blame squarely on President Donald Trump.

“California Governor Newsom didn't request the National Guard be deployed to his state following peaceful demonstrations. Trump sent them anyway,” she wrote.

“It's the first time in 60 years a president has made that choice. Trump's goal isn't to keep Californians safe. His goal is to cause chaos, because chaos is good for Trump.”

Critics torch Hillary Clinton for her comment, locking replies

Conservative account Libs of TikTok was among the first to pounce, posting video of the LA carnage alongside Clinton’s tweet and captioning it, “Comments off lol. She can’t handle the ratio. This is what Hillary Clinton calls ‘peaceful demonstrations.’”

“Ever notice that only leftists disable comments?” jabbed John Dennis, chair of the California Republican Liberty Caucus.

Some tagged X owner Elon Musk, demanding a rule change.

“Hey @ElonMusk, can you make it so that government officials and former government officials cannot turn off their replies,” one user asked.

Another vented, “A public figure and a fraud like herself shouldn’t be able to lock her replies, @elonmusk.”

Florida Rep Anna Paulina Luna jumped in with a blunt reality check. “These are not peaceful Hillary," she posted.

Several other users dragged the former first lady.

“Hillary Clinton is delusional if nothing else,” one user posted alongside footage of a fire blazing while rioters waved a Mexican flag.

"Old Crooked Hillary trying to be relevant," someone else wrote.

Another said, “Accusing the National Guard of causing chaos is a serious allegation that requires serious proof. I see none.”

Mayhem in LA amid immigration raids

Things spiraled in Los Angeles Friday night when federal law enforcement agents swooped in to carry out immigration raids—a Trump-ordered crackdown on illegal immigration that he says spiked under former President Joe Biden.

But left-leaning local leaders pushed back. LA Mayor Karen Bass and California Gov Gavin Newsom slammed the raids and threw support behind undocumented immigrants.

Meanwhile, Rioters began pelting federal agents with rocks, looting stores, torching cars, and even storming onto the freeway, Fox News reported.

By Saturday, Trump announced that 2,000 National Guard troops were being deployed, bypassing the governor. California quickly lawyered up, filing a lawsuit against the Trump administration for allegedly trying to “federalize the California National Guard.”

But things only got worse. By Monday, the situation was so out of control that the feds called in the Marines.

“Approximately 700 Marines with 2nd Battalion, 7th Marines, 1st Marine Division will seamlessly integrate with the Title 10 forces under Task Force 51 who are protecting federal personnel and federal property in the greater Los Angeles area,” said US Northern Command in a statement.

Trump claps back

Trump hopped on Truth Social early Tuesday with his own take on the situation. “If I didn’t ‘SEND IN THE TROOPS’ to Los Angeles the last three nights, that once beautiful and great City would be burning to the ground right now,” he declared.

Trump then referenced California’s wildfire disaster from January, where thousands of homes went up in flames.

“Much like 25,000 houses burned to the ground in L.A. do to an incompetent Governor and Mayor – Incidentally, the much more difficult, time consuming, and stringent FEDERAL PERMITTING PROCESS is virtually complete on these houses, while the easy and simple City and State Permits are disastrously bungled up and WAY BEHIND SCHEDULE! They are a total mess, and will be for a long time. People want to rebuild their houses. Call your incompetent Governor and Mayor, the Federal permitting is DONE!!!” he wrote.
