WASHINGTON, DC: Former US secretary of state Hillary Clinton is set to release a new book that will include a "fervent and persuasive warning to all American voters", less than two months before the general election, reported Fox News.

Titled 'Something Lost, Something Gained: Reflections on Life, Love, and Liberty', the book is published by Simon and Schuster. Clinton is scheduled to go on an extensive media tour before the release of the book on September 17.

What does Hillary Clinton's new book entail?

According to the publisher, 'Something Lost, Something Gained' offers Clinton's "candid views on life and love, politics, liberty, democracy, the threats we face, and the future within our reach."

It also highlights how the 2016 Democratic presidential nominee moved past losing her dreams for the White House.

Clinton talked about her marriage to former president Bill Clinton, as well as how she "moves past her dream of being president, and dives into new activism for women and democracy" in the book.

She further shares "new personal insights about her old adversary Vladimir Putin" and ways that "worried parents can protect kids from toxic technology."

Clinton has authored several books, including 'What Happened', which was released in 2017 and shares her take on being defeated by former president Donald Trump in the 2016 presidential election, and 'Hard Choices', which was released in 2014 and is a memoir of her time as secretary of state during the presidency of Barack Obama.

The former first lady reportedly remains active in the Democratic Party politics.

She criticized voters who were still undecided between President Joe Biden and Donald Trump in May, telling MSNBC during an interview, "We have two old candidates. One is, yes, old and effective, has passed legislation that I think is going to put America on such a strong footing for the future, is compassionate, cares about people, tries hard to make the right decision, and they are complicated. The other is old and dangerous. I mean, why is that a hard choice for people?"

Internet slams Hillary Clinton's upcoming book

Netizens took to X to troll Hillary Clinton over her new book.

"Did she call us a basket of deplorables again? Worked pretty well in 2016," asked a social media user.

"What's the warning? That her book is flammable?" inquired another.

"She should have released it during the toilet paper shortages so it might have actually helped someone other than the publishers pocket," one person said.

"If she actually wrote the book, I am Elmer Fudd," said another.

"And no one will read it. Just like no one voted for her," wrote one person.
