CHAPPAQUA, NEW YORK: Hillary Clinton faced pointed questions during her private deposition in the Jeffrey Epstein investigation on Thursday, February 26. Near the end of the session, Republican Representative Nancy Mace asked Clinton about claims that young women had given massages to her husband, Bill Clinton. Sources say the question briefly shifted the tone of the discussion.

During the deposition, a photo from the closed-door session circulated on X, shared by conservative commentator Benny Johnson. The session paused as lawyers went off the record to address a potential House rules violation.

Earlier, the Department of Justice released photos from the Epstein files. One image of Bill Clinton seated next to a woman drew attention online, reigniting public interest in the deposition.

Hillary Clinton questioned at Epstein deposition

Clinton was asked how she felt about the reported interactions involving her husband. According to CNN sources, she said she would not speculate about events she did not witness and emphasized she was not there to share personal feelings. Observers noted she remained calm and did not react emotionally. She did not comment further on the massage claims.

The DOJ confirmed that Bill Clinton maintained both social and professional connections with Epstein. Photos in the files included images of the two together, which drew public attention. Bill has consistently denied any wrongdoing and was never formally charged. He previously described the inquiry as “pure politics” and called the committee a “kangaroo court.”

Deposition resumes after photos from closed-door session surface

After the X posts circulated, the deposition briefly paused. Both sides went off the record to review any potential rule violations before questioning continued. Republican Representative Lauren Boebert tweeted that Benny Johnson “did nothing wrong” and the deposition resumed.

Once the session continued, Democrats pressed Clinton on her knowledge of Epstein. Speaking afterward, she confirmed she had no personal connection to Epstein and had never visited his properties or flown on his plane. She also reiterated that her husband had ended any ties with Epstein long before his crimes were publicly revealed.

The deposition concluded with Clinton sticking to factual responses and avoiding speculation, maintaining composure throughout the session.
