Homer Gere reveals Kaia Gerber’s reaction to parents Richard Gere and Cindy Crawford’s marriage
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Homer Gere has revealed how his ‘The Shards’ co-star Kaia Gerber reacted as he brought up their parents, Richard Gere and Cindy Crawford's past marriage.
Richard and the supermodel were married from 1991 to 1995. They, however, do not share any children.
The ‘Primal Fear’ star is the father of three sons. He shares Homer with his second and former wife, Carey Lowell. His other two sons are — Alexander and James — whom he had with his third wife Alejandra Silva.
On the other hand, Crawford is the mother of Kaia as well as a son named Presley with her businessman husband Rande Gerber.

Now, in a new joint cover for Vogue, Homer has talked about his first interaction with Kaia. He said, “Twenty minutes into knowing each other, I was like, ‘Should we just acknowledge the fact that our parents were married?’ She was like, ‘Yeah. Cool.’ And that was it.”
This came earlier during an interview with Entertainment Tonight, the 26-year-old actress talked highly about her meeting with Homer.
“I’d actually never met Homer until we started filming the show. I met him about a week before we started. But it was so nice. Honestly, he’s such a joy to work with and such a lovely person. He grew up on the East Coast, I grew up on the West Coast, but we’ve just gotten so close, and I couldn’t have picked a better scene partner, honestly.”
Kaia also shared that she was “excited” to meet the ‘Pretty Woman’ star’s son. “I was honestly so excited to meet Homer. We had never met. We had some mutual friends and so I heard really lovely things about him. What’s so wonderful about working with him is that we very quickly became very close,” she added.

Homer, in a separate interview, noted that “it’s funny” how fast he and Kaia “became friends” despite their parents’ history.
“From the inside, it’s really normal. We just became friends as coworkers before we started working and she’s become a really close friend. It’s been lovely working with her,” he added.
The 26-year-old had also earlier revealed the advice his star dad gave him as he portrayed Robert Mallory.
“Most of the advice I got from my dad was how to carry yourself on set and how to make the job kind of work for you,” he reportedly said.
