LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Fox News host Jesse Watters faced criticism for his comments on President Joe Biden's love of ice cream, suggesting a connection to Alzheimer's disease. The remarks followed Biden's visit to a New York ice cream parlor ahead of an appearance on Late Night with Seth Meyers.

Watters expressed disapproval on his show, Jesse Watters Primetime, stating, “If I were Biden and I was losing to Trump my party wanted to put me out to pasture and swap me out for a younger, better-looking liberal, the Mideast and Europe are at war, and migrants are murdering our women, the last thing I would do? Go out for ice cream with a comedian and lick it when they ask about the border."

Ice cream enjoyment sparks comparison between Biden and Alzheimer's Patients

Drawing a parallel between Biden and Alzheimer's patients, Watters said, "You know who lights up for ice cream? Children and the elderly. There’s a reason caregivers deliver ice cream to their patients in nursing homes."

He referenced the Alzheimer’s Association, stating, "Ice cream has the power to immediately elicit soothing feelings... It erases all the negative feelings related to the frustration and continues to stimulate pleasure receptors in the brain with every new scoop."

Watters clarified that he wasn't diagnosing Biden with Alzheimer's but suggested a correlation, adding, "He’s a child. He copies homework. He lies, falls asleep, doesn’t listen."

The remarks ignited backlash on social media, with critics deeming the association baseless and inappropriate.

Social media criticize Jesse Watters' ice cream and alzheimer's allegation

Jesse Watters' controversial remarks linking President Joe Biden's love for ice cream to Alzheimer's disease sparked a flurry of responses on social media.

One user wrote, "Just the type of hard hitting journalism we can always count on you for Jesse. One question: Does chili count as a stew?."

One commented, "Is the other problem your lack of anything resembling principles?."

Another added, "Jimmy Kimmel is not half the man you are Jesse. Btw Ben Carson is looking strong to be President Trump's VP in 2024."

One replied, "That was "ensure" Jesse. Everyone over 75 drinks that. Ask Donald what he has with his hamburger and fries."

"You don’t say? Talk about pursed lips! How unmanly!!!, commented one.
