WASHINGTON, DC: Wrestling legend Hulk Hogan recently appeared on Fox News with host Jesse Watters to respond to President Joe Biden’s controversial remarks labeling some Donald Trump supporters as “garbage.”

Hogan, a longtime Trump supporter, took a defiant stance on the issue, symbolically donning a garbage worker vest to drive home his response.

With his trademark directness, Hogan shared his thoughts on Biden's comments and defended Trump supporters.

Hulk Hogan addresses his frustration with Joe Biden’s 'garbage' comment

During his appearance on Fox News, Hulk Hogan wasted no time addressing his frustration with Joe Biden’s “garbage” comment.

“I was appalled, highly insulted,” Hogan said, recounting his experiences mingling with local garbage workers in his Clearwater, Florida neighborhood.

Hogan recalled how he used to invite garbage workers to his Halloween parties and enjoyed casual conversations with them over beers in the mornings, making clear his admiration for these workers.

"Every year for Halloween when I lived over in Belleair a few miles away from Clearwater Beach, we would open the gates to our house, and everybody from the neighborhood would come to our Halloween party," Hogan explained.

"The garbage men would come, and then the kids would leave. I would hang out with the garbage men in the morning because I thought I’d finally get to talk to them—they would always do a drive-by. We would sit there and drink beer. Those comments were appalling. I hated to hear that."

As Watters continued the conversation, he probed Hogan’s thoughts on why Democrats, unlike Republicans, often make statements that many perceive as insulting toward the American people.

"The only thing I can think of is that they are trying to humiliate the Trump supporters into voting for them," Hogan asserted.

Drawing on his own experiences attending rallies, he added, "I mean, to call us Nazis. I was at Madison Square Garden, and I looked all around. I am used to the building; there were no Nazis in there, there were no domestic terrorists. You know, they call us deplorables, but to call us garbage? They are calling the American people that support Trump garbage. You know, it is just ridiculous."

In a pointed warning, Hogan emphasized what he saw as the potential consequences if Vice President Kamala Harris were to assume power, hinting at an uncertain future for those who “want to make America great again.”

“What would happen if they get in power?” Hogan questioned. “What would they do to us, the real Americans who wanna make America great again?”

The uproar over Biden’s remarks began following an incident at a Trump rally in which comedian Tony Hinchcliffe referred to Puerto Rico as an “island of garbage,” as per BBC.

Biden initially responded with the phrase, “The only garbage I see floating out there is his supporters,” which immediately fueled backlash among Republicans and conservative media.

In an attempt to clarify, the White House later released a statement and corrected the transcript, including an apostrophe to specify that Biden was referring to “Trump’s supporter’s...demonization of Latinos” rather than labeling all Trump supporters.

According to the corrected transcript, Biden’s comment was meant to address Hinchcliffe’s controversial joke, describing it as “unconscionable” and “un-American.”
