Hunter Biden slammed as 'sugar brother' Kevin Morris' daughter claims he 'took advantage' of her father
WILMINGTON, DELAWARE: In an eyebrow-raising development, Dulcie Lou Morris, the 23-year-old daughter of Hollywood lawyer and Democratic donor Kevin Morris, reportedly accused Hunter Biden of exploiting her father for financial gain.
The confrontation - showcasing the tension within Morris' family - has brought additional scrutiny to the already embattled first son.
Dulcie Lou supposedly dressed down Hunter face-to-face, accusing him of "taking advantage" of her father’s generosity - underscoring the family's frustration over the extensive financial support Kevin has provided to President Joe Biden's son, which is reportedly in the millions.
"Stop taking advantage of my father," told Dulcie Lou to Hunter, a source close to the Morris family informed the New York Post. Talking about the tensions in the Morris family, the insider added, "His entire family has abandoned him because they were livid when they found out he was bankrolling everything."
Kevin Morris apparently began covering Hunter Biden's legal bills and personal expenses just weeks after their initial meeting
Kevin, 60, is a renowned entertainment lawyer in Hollywood, known for representing high-profile clients such as the co-creators of 'South Park', Matthew McConaughey, and Scarlett Johansson.
Kevin, a notable Democratic donor, first met Hunter at a fundraiser for President Biden in 2019. Since then, he has become a close benefactor to the first son.
He reportedly began covering Hunter's legal bills and personal expenses just weeks after their initial meeting. His financial support includes a substantial loan to cover Hunter’s IRS debt and ongoing legal costs.
Hunter is currently embroiled in multiple legal battles. He faces three felony charges related to the alleged illegal possession of a firearm in 2018 while being a drug user.
On Monday, June 3, Kevin showed up in Wilmington, Delaware, alongside First Lady Jill Biden, First Daughter Ashley Biden, and Melissa Cohen, for the first day of Hunter’s gun trial.
He is also set to go on trial for federal tax crimes in Los Angeles in September.
Despite the significant financial support from Kevin, Hunter's primary attorney, Abbe Lowell, cited "strained" resources when requesting a postponement of the Delaware trial in May. Lowell, whose fees range from $850 to over $1,500 per hour, has been a costly asset in Hunter's defense.
The cost of friendship for Kevin Morris
The exact amount Kevin has spent on Hunter Biden remains unclear, but estimates suggest the figure exceeds $6.5 million. This includes a $2.6 million loan to pay Hunter’s IRS debt in 2021, with most loans carrying a 5 percent interest rate.
Additionally, he apparently covered $17,500 per month for Hunter and his wife, Melissa Cohen, to live in a Venice Beach house from January 2020 to October 2020.
"I have worked hard to create a life that has allowed me to help my family and friends when they have needed it, and I did so with Hunter," explained Kevin in a letter to the House Oversight Committee.
He also purchased 13 of Hunter’s paintings, totaling nearly $1 million, further demonstrating his financial commitment to the first son.
Complicating matters, Kevin was accused of spying on the set of the documentary 'My Son Hunter'. Filmmaker Phelim McAleer lodged a complaint with the State Bar of California, alleging that he pretended to be an independent documentary filmmaker while covertly gathering information for Hunter.
He apparently flew on his private jet to Serbia, where the biopic was being filmed, under the guise of producing content for "South Park streaming."
A spokesperson for the State Bar of California declined to confirm the existence or status of an investigation into these accusations.
Internet slams Hunter Biden as he is accused of taking advantage of Kevin Morris
"Unbelievable," wrote a person and another said, "Hunter bleeding his Sugar brother dry."
"Who has he not taken advantage of?" asked someone else, while one more added, "Hunter is such a loser."
An individual expressed, "There are a lot of Hunter Biden's out there. They're irresponsible, lazy, take advantage of family, and cannot assume responsibility with their hand out, did I say that once, oh well, get the point," another chimed in.
