FLAGSTAFF, ARIZONA: Garrison Brown, the beloved son of 'Sister Wives' star Kody and Jenelle Brown, who was also a brother, soldier, and friend, was laid to rest in a funeral ceremony, four days after his sudden and tragic death by suicide at the age of 25, People reported.
Family members and loved ones took to social media to remember Garrison and honor his memory. On Saturday, March 9, Garrison's cousin Emma Brown took to Instagram to pay a heartfelt tribute to her late cousin and spoke about the emotional farewell they gave him at his funeral. Alongside several photos capturing Garrison's infectious smile, Emma expressed her grief and the deep void left by his untimely departure.
Sister Wives' Garrison Brown remembered fondly at funeral
In her caption, Emma reflected on the cherished memories she shared with Garrison, from their planned backpacking adventures to their coffee runs and movie nights. She highlighted his caring nature, emphasizing how he always ensured her well-being and offered unwavering support and friendship.
"Dear robert, i had to dress up for your funeral today and this is everything i wish you could’ve heard before i had to say goodbye," she wrote in the caption beside several photos of her cousin.
"I don’t even own a picture of you without your contagious smile. i don’t know if i have the right words to say i’ll miss you. i wish i was able to give you a hug and tell you how much you were loved. you were human, you had flaws but never once did i doubt the friendship we had," Emma added.

"I’ll always cherish the times i got to spend with you," she continued.
"We planned to go on so many backpacking trips but only made it to one. i’ll miss your goofy dad jokes, our coffee runs, the dinners we shared. the times we watched movies and you always let me put messy face masks all over our faces," Emma further said.
Toward the end of her message, she mentioned Garrison's caring nature. "You always made sure I ate, and that I knew I could always talk to you. you were a son, a brother, a soldier, and a friend. if there is a god, I hope he's giving you peace. I love you, Robert," she added.
Garrison's half-sibling Mykelti Brown Padron also paid tribute to him on social media, sharing heartfelt words of remembrance. Mykelti described Garrison as the "funniest person in the room" and expressed sorrow over the loss of his vibrant presence.
Mykelti said that she found solace in imagining him among the stars, surrounded by fellow warriors, and fondly remembered the joy he brought to their lives.

Mykelti wrote, "My heart breaks for my brother who’s no longer with us but it rejoices knowing he’s with his fellow warriors in Valhalla drinking and fighting with Odin."
"I hope he is loving his place amongst the stars," the daughter of 'Sister Wives' stars Christine and Kody Brown wrote.
"He was one cool dude and I cry so much because my kinda will never be able to experience his fun presence. But he will live on in all my families memories. Have fun up with the stars little bro, you’re missed," Mykelti added.
How did Garrison Brown die?
On March 5, 2024, the Brown family, known for their reality TV show 'Sister Wives', was struck by a devastating tragedy when Garrison Brown, the son of Janelle and Kody Brown, was found dead in his Flagstaff, Arizona home.
The heartbreaking news was confirmed by Lieutenant Charles M Hernandez II of the Flagstaff Police Department, who stated that Garrison's brother Gabriel discovered him dead in an apparent suicide, according to the outlet.
Lieutenant Hernandez emphasized that there was no indication of foul play, and detectives from the Criminal Investigations Division are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding Garrison's passing.
In response to the tragic loss, Janelle and Kody Brown shared a heartfelt statement on Instagram, expressing their deep sadness and requesting privacy as they mourned the loss of their beloved son, Robert "Garrison" Brown.
They described Garrison as a bright presence in the lives of all who knew him and acknowledged the immense void his absence would leave behind.
