NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Seth Meyers took aim at election denier Donald Trump, who recently stated he would accept the outcome of the 2024 election "if everything’s honest", in the latest episode of 'Late Night'.

Meyers humorously responded, "Dude, if everything was honest, the only results you’d have to accept would be the results of the prison talent show," during his show on May 2.

Trump's remarks on election integrity spark controversy

Trump is currently facing trial for allegedly masking hush money payments to a porn star as business expenses.

Additionally, he is under indictment for his involvement in efforts to overturn the 2020 election and for withholding classified documents found at his Mar-a-Lago residence.

Reortedly, following a rally in Waukesha, Wisconsin, Trump discussed concerns about the integrity of the upcoming election with the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

Notably, Trump's rally in Wisconsin was scheduled during a break from his ongoing hush-money trial.

When questioned about the potential of Biden defeating him for a second time in November, Trump responded, "If everything’s honest, I’ll gladly accept the results. I don’t change on that. If it’s not, you have to fight for the right of the country."

These remarks echoed his previous refusals to accept the outcome of the 2020 election, and the actions he took to contest Biden's victory
