Ilhan Omar slams Chuck Schumer for not endorsing Zohran Mamdani in NYC mayoral race

Unsurprisingly, raging antisemite Ilhan Omar calls on more Democrats to endorse Communist Zohran Mamdani, insinuates Democrats who don't are "anti-Muslim":

NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Rep Ilhan Omar, D-Minn, called out Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-NY, for not endorsing the Democratic Party's nominee for New York City mayor, Zohran Mamdani, whose socialist policies and far-left views have come with much controversy within the Democratic Party.
Omar said she was completely baffled by Schumer's decision, calling it illogical since Democrats should support their party's nominee.
Ilhan Omar’s reply when asked about Chuck Schumer’s silence on Zohran Mamdani

CNN host Kasie Hunt pointed out that House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries had finally offered a "somewhat reluctant" endorsement to the socialist nominee, Zohran Mamdani, but Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer had not she asked Rep Omar directly, "Why do you think Chuck Schumer has not endorsed Zohran Mamdani?"

Omar said, "I really don‘t know. It makes no sense. We as Democrats have always believed that, in an election, we support our party's nominee. Schumer has pressured other Democrats to do just that, and he should be following his own advice."

Ilhan Omar’s say on religion and accusations of antisemitism
When asked if religion might be a factor, Omar brought up the issue of anti-Muslim attacks and suggested Schumer should offer support to the Muslim community.
"Well, the tsunami of the anti-Muslim attacks that we are seeing is deeply concerning. And I would hope that the Democratic leader in the Senate would recognize that and would offer support not just to Mamdani, but the million Muslims who live in New York City and the millions who live in New York and in America."

Regarding the controversy over Mamdani not quickly condemning the phrase "Globalize the intifada," Omar argued about the frequent use of the antisemitism label against him.
She said that the accusation is overused, and pointed to the candidate's broad coalition of support, including Jewish voters: "Well, everything he does or says seems to be called antisemitic. What I do know is that he has support from a broad coalition of New Yorkers. He‘s got a huge coalition of Jewish voters that are supporting him. He‘s got a huge coalition of Muslims of every sect.”
Ilhan Omar backs Zohran Mamdani’s policy solutions
She concluded that his support comes from his policy solutions to the pain points of New Yorkers by asserting, “He‘s got a huge coalition of young people who are supporting him. And the reason they are supporting him is not just because he‘s an exciting candidate to support. It's because he took the time to listen where the policy pains were for New Yorkers. And he‘s offering a solution for them. They see hope in the kind of progress that he could create for New Yorkers."

Furthermore, when asked if she would want to see Mamdani's supporter, Rep Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-NY, primary Senator Schumer, Omar offered her full support for Ocasio-Cortez's future plans: "I would like Alex to do whatever it is that Alex wants, and I'll be there to support her."
