LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Alyssa Farah Griffin is working hard to lose some of the extra weight that she has gained since becoming a co-host of 'The View.' The 34-year-old political strategist, while appearing on 'The View: Behind the Table' podcast on Thursday, January 4, explained that she wants to be “more dedicated to working out daily” as one of her New Year’s resolutions.

“The show’s weird, like [producer] Robin [Hommel-Tenenbaum] jokes there’s like ‘The View’ 15,” she said according to PageSix. “I did not have ‘The View’ 15, but I had like ‘The View’ 5, and I’m gonna work on shedding ‘The View’ 5,'” she said.

Alyssa Farah Griffin discloses her other New Year’s resolutions

The former White House Director of Strategic Communications added that her other New Year’s resolutions are more “health and wellness” centered and include goals like cracking down on the social media “doom scrolling” and being “more sustainable.” Griffin has preferred to keep her fitness journey private as she didn't shed much light and also did not post about it on social media.

Alyssa Farah Griffin's appearance caused quite a stir on 'The View' before

In September, Griffin and co-host Whoopi Goldberg made headlines when they were talking about topics not related to personal matters when Goldberg awkwardly interrupted and asked Griffin, “Are you pregnant?” Griffin denied that she had a bun in the oven and asked Goldberg why she thought that and begged her, “Please tell me it’s not my tummy.”

The 68-year-old claimed that while Griffin did “look” like she was pregnant, it was because she had a “vibe” and a “glow” about her.

Goldberg initially received backlash from social media users over her assumption, but she seems to be on good terms with Griffin since the uncomfortable talk show moment. Griffin began permanently co-hosting the popular ABC talk show in 2022 for its 26th season. She made several guest appearances over the years before replacing Meghan McCain.

Alyssa Farah Griffin calls former boss Donald Trump a 'fraudster'

Meaww previously reported that Goldberg launched an attack against former president Donald Trump during an episode of 'The View' on December 13, saying, "Just when you think American politics can't get any dumber, you-know-who is trying to cash in on his legal troubles by selling pieces of the suit he wore in his mug shot — if you cough up more than $4,500 for his trading cards."

"And, for $500 a pop, George Santos is offering to make you personalized Cameos," added the 68-year-old Oscar-winning actress. Since being expelled from Congress, Santos has reportedly used his notoriety to make over $80,000 a day on the app.

Griffin, who had resigned from Trump's White House communications team in 2020, was reportedly appalled by her ex-boss's move and urged people not to give Santos their hard-earned money.

"I hate this so much," stated 'The View' co-host, adding, "Do not go out and support known fraudsters. The Cameos, I've seen a couple of clips, they're kind of funny, but this is a man who... allegedly defrauded a veterans charity. He has violated federal laws."

Mentioning Trump, Griffin continued, "This just shows how ridiculous our politics has gotten. It's all for him about enriching himself and about staying out of jail." She further noted that the former POTUS "had not won a damn thing since 2016," along with, "He's a known loser, he's lost consistently for the GOP, he's bad for the country, and it's time to move on."
