LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: As news broke of Donald Trump's victory in his civil fraud case, the Internet erupted with a mix of shock, disbelief, and frustration.

Jesse Watters, known for his outspoken commentary, delivered a scathing analysis of the situation, highlighting the Democrats' dashed hopes and Trump's unexpected financial windfall.

Watters mocks dashed Democrat hopes

Watters kicked off his segment with a vivid description of the scene among reporters, emphasizing the anticipation of Trump's downfall was akin to the Y2K hysteria. However, just like Y2K, the anticipated crisis failed to materialize. Instead, Trump emerged victorious, raking in a staggering $4 billion.

"The Democrats were prepared to climax today – anticipating a huge Trump loss in his civil fraud case today," Watters remarked, encapsulating the atmosphere of anticipation.

The turning point came when an appeals court ruled in Trump's favor, slashing the required cash bond from around half a billion dollars to $175 million. Watters wasted no time in ridiculing Judge Nudy and Letitia James, who had pushed for the higher bond amount.

"Today was a good day for America. You can't bankrupt a man just for beating Biden in the polls," Watters declared, framing the outcome as a victory for democracy.

With a hint of sarcasm, Watters dismissed the notion of Trump's properties being padlocked and his cash seized before the election, portraying it as a fantasy dashed by the day's events. He framed the outcome as a victory for America, asserting that attempts to bankrupt Trump for his political triumphs would ultimately fail.

"Every indictment helps Trump, and every court victory helps him even more," Watters asserted.

Mixed emotions online over Trump's legal victory

In response to Jesse Watters' report on Donald Trump's legal triumph, social media users took to various platforms to express a range of emotions.

One user wrote, "Can you really imagine how many are crying in their pillows tonight."

Another added, "Jesse this was by far your best piece."

One noted, "And landed on Forbes list of the 500 richest people in the world!! "

Someone else commented, "That's for sure. They are all crying now."

One replied, "Where is the $175 million coming from?"
