WESTCHESTER COUNTY, NEW YORK: Westchester County Executive George Latimer blasted Rep Jamaal Bowman of New York on Monday, June 24, after his fiery rally on the weekend.

Calling his Democratic rival’s F-bomb-filled speech at the Bronx “inappropriate,” Latimer told The New York Post, “I think there has been a lot of criticism lobbed at me by my opponent that’s unfair and inaccurate.”

“But I don’t think I get the right to lose my temper. I don’t think I get the right to curse in public,” the 70-year-old politician added.

Jamaal Bowman thrashed AIPAC at a weekend rally

This occurred after on June 22, the 48-year-old former educator addressed the crowd, stating, “We are gonna show f***king AIPAC the power of the motherf***king South Bronx,” as reported by Fox News.

He further said, “People ask me why I got a foul mouth. What am I supposed to do? You coming after me. You coming after my family. You coming after my children. I'm not supposed to fight back?”

“I'm not supposed to fight back? We're gonna show them who the f**k we are,” he asserted.

Jamaal Bowman accused AIPAC of ‘destroying our democracy’

Bowman also noted, “We are not gonna stay silent while the US tax dollar kills babies and women and children. My opponent supports genocide. My opponent and AIPAC are the ones destroying our democracy.”

“And it is on us, it is on all of us to save our democracy and save our collective humanity. Because this race is about our collective humanity,” he added.

Netizens agree with George Latimer

However, public sentiment on the internet seemed to align with Latimer's position, with one reader commenting below a New York Post article, “Please do not vote for Bowman. We deserve better. I mean, really.”

Another reader said, “Bowman soon gone. AOC next. STOP this bunte nightmare. Make New Yorkers smile and be happy again.”

“If Bowman loses, all we need is a Republican to knock off AOC in November and our DEmocracy will return. It's gotta be a strong candidate with money. It can be done,” a user stated.

One more user noted, “I hope Latimer beats Bowman in a landslide.”

“As a constituent of the 16th CD I'm more than embarrassed by Bowman.  Jamaal is a buffoon with a foul mouth to boot,” another added. [sic]

An individual posted, "AOC AND BOWMAN do not belong anywhere near the Halls of Congress. Dems do yourself a favor vote  them out.”

Another one added, “How these people are even allowed into Congress is a sad commentary about the IQ of certain segments of the population.  Decorum, honor, respect, and civility are foreign to these Dem buffoons.”
