FORNEY, TEXAS: Adult film actress Stormy Daniels, a potential key witness in the hush money trial against Donald Trump, defended the ongoing trial in Manhattan, arguing the former president engaged in criminal acts.

The hush money case brought by Manhattan Attorney General Alvin Bragg has accused Trump of falsifying business records to pay $ 130,000 to Daniels shortly before the 2016 election in exchange for her silence about their alleged sexual encounter.

The hush money payments made through the real estate mogul's former fixer, Michael Cohen, are the center of the trial where the prosecution argued Trump tried to influence the election by trying to cover up negative stories through a "catch-and-kill" scheme before the 2016 election, which he won.

Daniels, who is expected to take the witness stand in the Manhattan courthouse, had to defend the case while sharing a totally unrelated update on her social media, according to Raw Story.

On Sunday, April 28, the adult film actress took to X talking about her day. "Such a beautiful afternoon at the farm...Just finished reviewing some footage from the TV show I'm directing and making some notes. Now I'm watching my horses graze and packing up merch orders to ship out tomorrow morning," she wrote.

NEW YORK, NEW YORK - APRIL 19: Former U.S. President Donald Trump speaks to the media at the end of the day during his criminal trial as jury selection continues at Manhattan Criminal Court on April 19, 2024 in New York City. Trump was charged with 34 counts of falsifying business records last year, which prosecutors say was an effort to hide a potential sex scandal, both before and after the 2016 presidential election. But a commentator, @Critethhiteth, soured her afternoon by mocking Daniels about Trump facing accountability in the case. "This case is falling apart in real time and your ability to remain relevant with it," the user wrote.

Daniels refused to remain silent and retorted, "Ummm....? Are you watching the same case that just had TWO witnesses prove everything I've been saying is the truth?...and one of those witnesses was even his personal assistant."

"Does it hurt to be in such denial of the facts?" she asked.

Former National Enquirer publisher David Pecker and a longtime assistant of Trump, Rhona Graff, testified at the Manhattan courthouse last week.

Pecker confirmed his involvement in the "catch-and-kill" scheme to bury Trump's alleged affair with actress Karen McDougal to influence the 2016 election. Graff testified that she added both McDougal's and Daniels' contact information to the Trump Organization system and that she had once seen the latter visiting Trump Tower.

Internet rallies behind Stormy Daniels

Daniels received unwavering support from netizens who asked her to ignore Trump fans.

One user wrote, You've got my unlimited support Stormy." Another remarked, "You know what Ms Stormy...let these sad, pathetic losers think what they want to. Its all they have in their loser lives."

"They’ve been in denial for nearly a decade…" a third user added. A fourth response read, "EVERYTHING you said is true. Thank you for your willingness to testify. Make merch."

Another said, "Stormy you are amazing don’t ever change !! Men are terrified by strong women."

An individual wrote, "Ignore them, Stormy. They are so not worth your precious time." Meanwhile, a remark read, "Stay strong! everyone with a brain can see that you are right."
