Internet backs Ana Navarro as she slams Trump for claiming Black people like him due to his indictments
NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Ana Navarro called out former President Donald Trump on X (formerly Twitter) for certain remarks he made at the Black Conservative Federation (BCF) Gala in South Carolina on Friday, February 23, ahead of the state's GOP primary.
During his speech, the White House hopeful claimed to be similar to Black Americans due to his multiple indictments and as he was "discriminated against."
Trump did go on to win the Palmetto State primary on Saturday with 59.8% votes, far ahead of his competitor Nikki Haley, who trailed at 39.5%.
Ana Navarro slams Donald Trump for opening his mouth to say stupid things
Navarro took to X (formerly Twitter) to share a clip of Trump from the Gala, where he is heard saying, "And then I got indicted a second time, and a third time and a fourth time. And a lot of people said that that's why the Black people like me because they have been hurt so badly and discriminated against."
"And they actually viewed me as I'm being discriminated against, it's been pretty amazing," continued the ex-POTUS.
"I thought the stupidest thing I could possibly hear this week, is that Black people gonna support Trump because he now sells sneakers….and then, Trump opened his mouth," wrote 'The View' co-host in her post, followed by using a facepalm emoji.

Internet reacts to Ana Navarro's post about Donald Trump's speech at the Black Conservative Federation Gala
Soon after Navarro called out Trump for the remarks he made at the Black Conservative Federation Gala, fans and netizens stood in support of 'The View' host.
One wrote, "Oh there is always a lower bar. And they keep delivering on that," as another echoed, "the bar for trump is literally in the centre of the earth."
"To make matters worse, the majority of the audience was white that laughed and applauded at Trump’s racist comments," pointed out a person.
Someone else expressed, "President Donald Trump’s outreach to the Black community over the years has been little more than political theater, devoid of real substance. But the performance-artist-in-chief might just have outdone himself."
