WASHINGTON, DC: Anthony Scaramucci, who briefly served as White House communications director under the Trump administration, recently revealed why he believes more Republicans are not speaking out against the former president.

According to Scaramucci, many GOP members are hesitant to do so because they “don’t like death threats.”

In other words, they don't want to put their lives at risk by openly opposing Donald Trump, the figurehead of the ‘Make America Great Again’ movement.

What did Anthony Scaramucci say regarding his former boss Donald Trump?

Scaramucci appeared on MSNBC’s ‘Deadline White House’ with Nicolle Wallace on Thursday to address former Rep Liz Cheney's (R-Wyo) recent remarks that Donald Trump attempted to "scorch the Constitution" and would do so again if re-elected in 2024, per Mediaite.

Wallace told Scaramucci, “You’ve been a part of something that I really appreciate. You correct me if I get this wrong, but you seem to have tried to coax out of the corners or hiding some of the people who have been reluctant to enter the political fray, to offer their firsthand accounts of the danger that Donald Trump poses.”

“Why is — and I have a little sense that that’s a very difficult, painstakingly diplomatic process — why is it so hard for some of these people to speak out? They’re some of the most alarmed people among us,” host Wallace asked.

“Well, they probably don’t like death threats, Nicolle,” Scaramucci replied. “I think we can probably start there. So, I mean, that could be the number-one reason.”

The former White House communications director continued, “But, ultimately, I think what the generals, it has to do with their respect for the dignity of the Constitution and not wanting to bring military leadership into the political fray.”

“But at the end of the day, what Liz Cheney is saying is so true and is so alarming that if we don’t do it, I don’t know who will do it. And I’m certainly worried about everything that she is saying,” Scaramucci added.

“I just want to add one thing quickly,” he remarked, adding. “He (Trump) will be way more organized this time. One of the reasons why that insurrection failed is that he didn’t have the organizational skills. He doesn’t have the executive management skills to run an insurrection properly.”

“But he now has willing participants on that campaign that are way more organized than him. And so do not underestimate that and do not underestimate the effectiveness going forward if he should somehow win, which I predict he won’t,” Scaramucci said in conclusion.

According to a report from The Hill, Scaramucci quipped last week that he and other ex-Trump administration officials are part of a "Trump Recovery Unit."

Scaramucci's comments were in response to a question posed by host Joe Scarborough on MSNBC's 'Morning Joe' last Friday, who asked why Scaramucci believes former President Trump is "such a danger to the Republic if he's reelected."

“Let me just talk about my colleagues and friends, because we’re sort of like in this Trump recovery unit together, which would include former Defense Secretary Mark Esper, retired Gen Mark Milley, former chair of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.”

Internet weighs in on Anthony Scaramucci's revelation

People on X shared their opinions and reactions to Trump’s White House communications director Anthony Scaramucci’s bombshell revelations implying that Republicans have no choice but to fall in line with the former POTUS.

One X user claimed: “Thats exactly what former Republicans in Congress are saying. There are more anti Trumpers in Congress but they are too afraid to say it in public. Only behind closed doors."

Another user argued, "Guy that was fired after 4 DAYS has opinions on his ex-boss."

Another user remarked, "Lol. They represent about 20% of the old GOP. The GOP that gave us Iraq, extensive debt, the housing crisis, and folded like lawn chair before the marxist left. They are useless."

One user wrote: "Lol. The GOP literally has had a "never trump" movement openly opposing Trump for seven years"

Another X user said: "@Scaramucci is a scorned clown."

Finally, this user tweeted: "Yeah, that's a problem. Of course having a bunch of criminal morons running the country ain't too great either! #TrumpIsACriminal".
