MANHATTAN, NEW YORK CITY: On the April 8 episode of 'Late Night With Seth Meyers', Seth Meyers couldn't help but poke fun at the fancy menu featured at Donald Trump's fundraiser for mega-donors on the night of April 6, joking that the menu seemed so "foreign" that he was surprised Trump didn't have it deported.

According to CNN, attendees at the fundraiser paid nearly $1 million per person, which Meyers pointed out, contradicts Trump's previous claims that he wouldn't accept other people's money for his campaign.

Seth Meyers speculates on Trump's culinary preferences

The fee included a 45-minute group address from Trump, along with a menu consisting of "an endive and frisee salad, filet au poivre, and pavlova with fresh berries for dessert".

"That menu had so many foreign words, I'm surprised he didn't have it deported," Meyers quipped.

Indeed, Trump has previously expressed concerns about "foreign languages coming into our country", but Meyers joked that Trump probably doesn't actually like those foods on the fundraiser menu.

"There's also nothing on that menu Donald Trump would ever actually eat," Meyers remarked.

He added, "Or maybe, those are secretly his favorite meals, and his love of fast food is just a ruse for his supporters. After all, we've never seen him eat fast food. He just takes pictures with it like some kind of reverse Instagram influencer."

Meyers then pulled up an old photo of Trump seemingly preparing to indulge in some KFC chicken, suggesting that perhaps the bucket of chicken was merely a facade, concealing "a bucket full of vichyssoise".

"Vichyssoise would be his favorite soup. If you read the Steele dossier, we know he loves leeks," Meyers joked, clearly aiming for wordplay on "leaks".

Seth Meyers' Trump jokes spark social media frenzy

Social media users couldn't contain their laughter as they hilariously reacted to Meyers' statements regarding Trump.

One person wrote, "Trump, YOU are the laughingstock of the entire world."

Another person wrote, "People should have understood then that he was a fraud. Repeating over and over again that he doesnt need money means he needs your money."

One more person noted, "That fool has played the biggest grift on the American people. It's truly sad and disgusting."
