PHILADELPHIA, PENNSYLVANIA: President Joe Biden's modest town hall-style gathering in Philadelphia on Wednesday, May 29, demonstrated his lack of support in the most Democratic regions of the United States.

In contrast, former president Donald Trump’s recent rally in the Bronx drew thousands of Black voters and residents from the bluest borough of Democrat-run New York.

According to The Gateway Pundit, President Joe Biden addressed Black voters during his speech and introduced the ‘Black Voters for Biden-Harris’ initiative.

Before the event, the Biden campaign accused Donald Trump of "running on an anti-Black agenda."

What prompted Donald Trump to ridicule Joe Biden’s rally?

On Wednesday, a series of unexpected incidents occurred during President Joe Biden’s Philadelphia rally event.

The event at Philly’s Girard College gymnasium began with a delayed start and a lively performance by a marching band, accompanied by a person dressed as the popular children's character Elmo.

As President Biden began his address, there was a momentary lapse in coherence, prompting concern among the audience.

Additionally, there was an instance where he appeared momentarily disoriented but was promptly assisted by Vice President Kamala Harris, who was by his side.

Furthermore, observations were made regarding the audience's composition at the rally. The Biden-Harris team filled the school gym with school attendees who were not eligible to vote in the upcoming election, leading to discussions about the event's impact and the audience's demographics.

These observations have sparked discussions and reactions from various quarters, including comments from former president Donald Trump.

The 2024 presumptive Republican presidential nominee took to his proprietary social networking platform, Truth Social, where he shared visuals from his rival’s rally, with the caption, “Only the 39 Kids that had to be there showed up!”

This comes as a Philadelphia Inquirer/ New York Times/ Siena College poll earlier this month confirmed that the 81-year-old incumbent is losing support among young Black and Hispanic voters and losing by 3% in Pennsylvania.

According to The New York Times, “Nearly 70 percent of voters say that the country’s political and economic systems need major changes — or even to be torn down entirely” in the six swing states polled.
