LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Donald Trump once again targeted Jimmy Kimmel, reigniting their ongoing feud after the late-night host ridiculed the ex-POTUS' critique of his Oscars hosting.

In an interview on Fox News' 'MediaBuzz', Trump remarked, "Jimmy Kimmel hits me every night, I guess, his ratings are terrible. I hear he hits me all the time, so I figured I’d hit him because I thought he was a lousy host."

Donald Trump says Jimmy Kimmel is dumber than what he previously thought

On the night of the 96th annual Academy Award, Trump took to Truth Social to denounce Kimmel and the Oscars, only for the late-night host to read it aloud on the event's stage.

Taking a jab at the several legal troubles surrounding the ex-POTUS, 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!' jokingly remarked, "Well, thank you, President Trump. Thank you for watching, I'm surprised you're still — isn't it past your jail time?"

Trump expressed surprise that Kimmel chose to read his post, especially just before the announcement of the Academy Award for Best Picture.

The ex-POTUS shared, "Now the big story is that they all begged him not to do it… 'Don’t do it.' He probably stupidly, you know he had to act in a short period of time, like minutes, right? He had minutes because he's on air. He sees this thing and he wants to go out there and he wants to, I guess confront me and so…he ends up reading my Truth"

"I said, 'This guy’s even dumber than I thought.' The thing went viral, it’s been all over the world now and all he had to do is keep his mouth shut," expressed the White House hopeful.

One wrote, "Says the most talented and well educated with the best words. What a poppyshow this man is," and another remarked, "He’s the second highest rated in late night tv, but go off, Trump."

"The people all over the world was laughing at Trump," expressed a person, while someone else shared, "Kimmel made him the laughing stock of the country at that very moment."

One more quipped, "Number of times Jimmy Kimmel was hired to hosts the Oscars: 4. Number of times Donald Trump was nominated for an Emmy: 0. Hmm…"
