WASHINGTON, DC: Kevin Roberts, the President of the Heritage Foundation, has asserted that the Supreme Court ruling on presidential immunity on July 1 will fortify a "second American Revolution.'

The leader of the conservative think tank emphasized that this revolution could “remain bloodless if the left allows it to be," reported The Hill.

During Steve Bannon's 'War Room' podcast, Roberts discussed the Supreme Court ruling on presidential immunity.

The ruling, which primarily shields former presidents from criminal prosecutions for their actions while serving their term, should invigorate conservatives, according to Roberts.

“In spite of all this nonsense from the left, we are going to win. We’re in the process of taking this country back. No one in the audience should be despairing,” he said.

“And in spite of all of the injustice, which, of course, friends and audience of this show, of our friend Steve know, we are going to prevail," Roberts added.

The Second American Revolution

Elaborating on the broader implications, Roberts said, "We are in the process of the second American Revolution, which will remain bloodless if the left allows it to be."

He hailed the Supreme Court decision on presidential immunity as "vital" and referenced Alexander Hamilton's 1877 essay 'Federalist No 70' which argued for a robust executive branch.

During the discussion with former Rep. Dave Brat (R-Va), who hosted the podcast episode in Bannon's absence, with the former Trump White House strategist having reported to prison this week, Roberts said, “You know, former congressman, the importance of Congress doing its job, but we also know the importance of the executive being able to do his job."

“And can you imagine, Dave Brat, any president — put politics off to the side — any president having to second-guess, triple-guess every decision they’re making in their official capacity, you couldn’t have the republic that you just described," he added.

Internet slams Kevin Roberts' 'second American Revolution' remarks

Reacting to Roberts saying Supreme Court ruling on presidential immunity will reinforce the 'Second American Revolution', one user on X (formerly Twitter) wrote, "Considering the left has a lot of anti-gun people, and anti-violence tree hugger types, they are not the ones to make it bloody unlike the Jan 6th MAGA party."

"It wasn’t the left that attacked the Capital. S*****s at Heritage know exactly what they’re doing; they continue to hope for violence as long as they can justify it. Republicans are fully committed to treason," a netizen commented while another user wrote, "Lol. These betas and their imaginations."

"What a stupid statement! It sounds like ‘it is our way, or the highway!’ America’s problem are not the left or the right; it is idiots like Kevin Roberts," a user tweeted.
