LINDON, UTAH: Parker Stott, the husband of pregnant Utah influencer Chloe Stott, 24, who lost her life in a horrific car crash, has also succumbed to his injuries.

Both husband and wife were on their way to Arizona to share their pregnancy news with their families for Christmas, when they collided with a commercial truck on Highway 93 near Wickenburg, Maricopa County, on Wednesday night, December 20, per Daily Mail.

On the eve of Christmas Eve, Parker’s family announced that he had succumbed to his critical injuries at the Arizona Burn Center, where he had three surgeries, one of which was a leg amputation.

"He's the strongest person and has fought so hard. At 6.47 pm, Parker grew his angel wings to fly him to Heaven to be with his sweet love Chloe and their baby," his devasted family shared.

"Early this morning, Parker went in for his third surgery to do some clean up on his burns, as well as start on some skin grafting for his leg," Parker's family shared on social media.

"At the completion of the surgery, the surgeons delivered the news that Parker's injuries were even more extensive than what we were already aware of and the outlook was extremely bleak."

"A few hours later, we received the update that Parker's vitals were dropping and he was going fast."

"We gather around him as a family, kissed him, hugged him, held his hand, told him just how much we loved him and how proud we were of him. He is the strongest person and has fought so hard."

The couple had raised $202,876 USD out of their $250,000 goal in a fundraiser and they were about to share their pregnancy news with their family when the tragic crash occurred.

"They had just found out they were pregnant and were so excited to be parents and share the news with their loved ones over Christmas," the GoFundMe page said.
