SAN FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIA: On Wednesday, December 13, NBA player Draymond Green has been indefinitely suspended following a clash with Phoenix player Jusuf Nurkic.

The decision has been met with a wave of reactions online, with many users expressing their thoughts through memes and comments, echoing that the move was "well deserved."

Green, a forward for the Golden State Warriors, was handed an indefinite suspension after he hit Phoenix Suns’ Jusuf Nurkic in the face.

This season, Green has been ejected three times, with the latest occurring during the Warriors' narrow 119-116 loss on Tuesday.

The NBA has imposed this unusual open-ended ban on the player due to his consistent record of "unsportsmanlike acts." Before he can return to the court, the 33-year-old will be "required to meet certain league and team conditions" set by the league and his team.

Notably, the NBA rarely hands out indefinite suspensions, typically opting for bans that last a specified number of games.

During the third quarter, referees deemed Green’s arm swing into Nurkic's face as a flagrant foul 2 - categorized as "unnecessary and excessive contact," resulting in an automatic ejection.

In his NBA career, Green has been expelled from 18 games, the most among active players.

The four-time NBA champion reportedly later expressed regret to Nurkic, explaining that he unintentionally hit Nurkic while attempting to draw a foul, believing he was being illegally restrained, as per BBC.

Despite the apology, the Suns player was still displeased, remarking, "What's going on with him? I don't know. Personally, I feel like that brother needs help."
