MANHATTAN, NEW YORK: Former President Donald Trump, known for his unconventional communication style, expressed his views on the ongoing "Rigged Biden Trial."

Despite Trump frequently commenting on and answering questions about his hush money criminal trial, he said he was not allowed to comment on it because of the judge's gag order.

Donald Trump says he's 'not allowed to speak' despite questions by media

Posting in the third person on Truth Social, Trump claimed that he is unable to comment on or answer questions about the trial due to an ‘UNPRECEDENTED AND UNCONSTITUTIONAL’ gag order issued by Judge Juan Merchan, reported CNN.

Trump posted, “45th President Donald J Trump is again the Republican Nominee for President of the United States, and is currently dominating in the Polls.”

“However, he is being inundated by the Media with questions because of this Rigged Biden Trial, which President Trump is not allowed to comment on, or answer, because of Judge Juan Merchan’s UNPRECEDENTED AND UNCONSTITUTIONAL Gag Order," he added.

Donald Trump's call for lifting gag order

Trump further expressed that he had no right to respond while his opponents were openly talking about it.

“His Opponents have unlimited rights to question, but he has no right to respond. There has never been a situation like this in our Country’s History, a Candidate that is not allowed to answer questions,” he wrote in another post.

“Even Crooked Joe Biden is talking about the Sham Case, and others inspired by his Administration. We request that Judge Merchan immediately LIFT THE GAG ORDER, so that President Trump is able to freely state his views, feelings, and policies,” the former president wrote.

“He is asking for his Constitutional Right to Free Speech. If it is not granted, this again becomes a Rigged Election!” he wrote.

Internet reacts on Donald Trumps claim that he is not allowed to speak

Meanwhile, his claim about not being allowed to comment on his trial despite the media asking him about it was met with skepticism and humor on the internet.

One user questioned, “Why is this written in third person?” Another commented, “And yet, he continues to talk. A lot.”

A third user pointed out, “If you aren’t allowed to talk about the trial, then why are you talking about it every time you open your mouth?”

One user humorously responded, “Bwahahaha. Here is a 3rd person LMFAO for “him”!” Another asked, “Who wrote this?”

One user opined, “Trump opening his mouth and seeing what falls out is exactly what got him into this mess. He has an extremely long track history justifying this gag order.”
