WASHINGTON, DC: Kellyanne Conway, a notable Fox News contributor, recently leveled criticism at Vice President Kamala Harris, alleging that she seeks to engage voters primarily on issues "from the waist down."

The former Donald Trump aide's remarks came during an appearance on Jesse Watters' primetime show, where she reacted to a clip featuring Harris discussing reproductive rights during a campaign event in Pennsylvania on Wednesday, May 8.

Kamala Harris' emphasis on reproductive health draws criticism from Kellyanne Conway

In the clip, Harris recounted her visit to a reproductive clinic, saying, “You know, I’m so fed up with this sometimes because I’m on the road full-time talking about this and other issues."

She added, "When I went to that reproductive clinic, it was a long day. And the press was there and I said, let me just tell you. And you guys are gonna have to be ready for this, ready for certain language. And I said very loudly, ‘Ovaries! And fallopian tubes! Fibroids!’ And it was the funniest thing, for me at least."

Watters subsequently questioned Conway about whether American voters were prepared to hear about female anatomy for the next six months.

The former Trump aide responded, "No, of course not. They overplay their hand. She finally found something she can actually say for more than a minute without a teleprompter."

Dubbing Harris the "abortion czar," Conway claimed, "By the way, Kamala Harris makes America’s women feel smart. Jesse, thanks for playing that clip for no other reason. I just feel smarter right now. All of us women do."

She then contrasted her own perspective with Harris's approach, stating, "I like the party– the Republican Party speaks to me from the waist up where my eyes, my ears, my heart, and my mouth are. She wants to talk to everybody from the waist down only. And she just proved that," as per Mediaite

Conway implied that Harris' focus was narrower compared to the broader scope of issues addressed by the Republican Party.

The conversation underscores the focus on reproductive rights in Democratic politics, particularly following the SCOTUS' 2022 decision to overturn Roe v Wade, effectively nullifying the constitutional right to abortion.

Internet slams Kellyanne Conway over her remarks on Kamala Harris

A netizen wrote, "Kellyanne, like most Republicans this year, is desperately wishing that women would forget about bodily autonomy and how Republicans took it away from them."

Another said, "Kellyanne Conway is known far and wide as 'The Cryptkeeper.'"

"Kellyanne thinks women should be in the red tent when they are menstruating," remarked a person, and someone else added, "She demeans women who care about having control of their own bodies Disgusting comment from Kellyanne."

An individual dubbed her "Smellyanne Skankway," while one more expressed, "Every GOP accusation is an admission of guilt! Kellyanne Clownway isn't accurate, just a lying fool."
