Jeff Bezos' fiancee Lauren Sanchez allegedly asked ex-Trump advisor Kellyanne Conway for public image help
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Jeff Bezos’ fiancee, Lauren Sanchez allegedly "begged" Donald Trump’s former adviser, Kellyanne Conway for "guidance" with public image after the duo met at a party in 2020.
The shocking claim comes from Wall Street Journal reporter Dana Mattioli, who has extensively covered Amazon in her career as a journalist.
In her new book, 'The Everything War: Amazon's Ruthless Quest to Own the World and Remake Corporate Power', Mattioli writes the alleged meeting between Sanchez and Conway happened shortly after the couple made their relationship public.

Mattioli, who has been writing investigative pieces about Amazon since 2019, claims Sanchez reportedly asked Conway, "You've had a lot thrown at you. How do you handle it?" after meeting her at the party, as per RadarOnline.
The former adviser to Trump was purportedly "flattered" by the question and replied praisingly, "Please, have you looked in the mirror?"
Conway then said, "People are jealous of you," before adding, "I would say they're jealous because you're dating him," referring to Bezos.
Subsequently, the high-profile advisor went on a "slow jog around the neighborhood" with the Blue Origin founder’s fiancee as a "gesture of goodwill."
Mattioli wrote, "It was a gesture of goodwill ... Knowing how seriously Sanchez took exercise."
Jeff Bezos and Donald Trump's strained relationship
The story of Sanchez and Conway’s meeting may come as a surprise to many as Bezos and Trump have been at loggerheads for a long time.
The Washington Post, which the Amazon founder bought in 2013, has often published pieces heavily criticizing the former president, as per CNN. Their relationship went downhill during Trump's 2016 race for the White House.
Trump often attacked Bezos through his X (formerly Twitter) account, calling his newspaper as "Amazon Washington Post."
In a December 2015 post, the former president wrote, "The @washingtonpost loses money (a deduction) and gives owner @JeffBezos power to screw public on low taxation of @Amazon! Big tax shelter."

After WaPo published a particularly negative story about him in 2017, Trump slammed the newspaper, saying, "The [Washington Post], sometimes referred to as the guardian of Amazon not paying internet taxes (which they should) is FAKE NEWS!" according to RadarOnline.
In a similar post from June 2018, Trump claimed, "Washington Post employees want to go on strike because Bezos isn’t paying them enough. I think a really long strike would be a great idea. Employees would get more money and we would get rid of Fake News for an extended period of time! Is @WaPo a registered lobbyist?"
