NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Following former president Donald Trump's remarks on the Supreme Court's oral arguments regarding his eligibility for the ballot in Colorado, a CNN panel erupted into laughter upon cutting away from his speech.

Following this news, Fox News anchor Sean Hannity took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to report on CNN’s reaction.

Several people on the internet also weighed in their thoughts and brutally slammed the news channel.

Fox News anchor Sean Hannity took to X, and wrote, “CNN CUTS TRUMP: Panel Doesn't Show Trump's SCOTUS Reaction, Bursts Into Laughter [WATCH].”

Hannity’s tweet featured an article from his official website which reported that a panel of CNN talking heads burst into laughter as they cut away Donald Trump’s remarks on the Supreme Court’s Colorado ballot hearing.

CNN host Jake Tapper said while laughing, “Okay, I think we’ve gotten all the legal analysis we’re going to get out of President Trump.”

“It’s odd there, because, this was actually an opportunity,” Tapper added.

As the other panelists were laughing, George Conway chimed in, “He wants to talk about himself, he doesn’t want to talk about the Supreme Court and say, ‘Oh, this Supreme Court did a nice job today.’ He just wants to talk about what’s on his mind."

Additionally, CNN special correspondent Jamie Gangel also added, “Someone didn’t tell him that this sounded like good news for him today, clearly. It wasn’t just the rambling, sort of campaign speech, but if he had simply listened to the analysis afterward, he would know that it sounds like he’s in good shape."

CNN then returned to Trump's speech as Tapper indicated that he was “talking about legal matters.”

However, when Trump began criticizing illegal immigration under the Biden administration, CNN cut away from his remarks for a second time, prompting further laughter from the panel, including Kellyanne Conway.

Internet bashes CNN

Many X users brutally bashed CNN for cutting off from Trump's remarks.

One person wrote, “CCN is a joke,” and another said, “That’s why their ratings are in the toilet 🚽.”

An X user took a brutal jab at CNN, “That's why nobody watches CNN,” while another said, “This is why CNN has lost 70% of their viewers.”

One more person slammed, “Yep, they cut short and cherry picked segments from the live audio also. This is what they do,” while another added, “Don’t worry everyone, Some day CNN will out of business.”
