ATLANTA, GEORGIA: Rep Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) in a bizarre and unexpected tweet took aim at HBO's hit show ‘Curb Your Enthusiasm’ on Tuesday, February 12, launching a scathing critique that centered around the show’s story arc ridiculing Georgia’s voting laws, per a report by Huffpost.

Greene wrote on X, formerly Twitter, that it was “a glaring reminder of why most Georgian’s [sic] resent Republicans in our state for inviting the nasty commies from California, the Hollywood elites, into our state by dishing out Hollywood tax credits.”

“This week’s episode lied and painted GA conservatives and Trump supporters as racists and red necks and made fun of our good new law that stops the Stacey Abrams vote pandering machine and prevents voter fraud,” the MAGA congresswoman added.

What prompted Marjorie Taylor Greene to lash out?

The latest episode, ‘The Lawn Jockey' picks up where the Season 12 premiere, ‘Atlanta', left off with the storyline set in the capital of the Peach State.

Larry David was previously jailed (and given his own Donald Trump-like mugshot) for breaching a Georgia statute that prohibits the distribution of food or water to voters, after providing water to a thirsty Auntie Rae (Ellia English) standing in line to vote.

Larry has since transformed into a liberal hero in ‘The Lawn Jockey’ episode, garnering praise from Stacey Abrams, the activist and former Georgia gubernatorial candidate.

Abrams says during her surprise cameo in the episode, “Larry David is about action, not words. He saw an injustice and he did what he could to right it.”

In the episode, legendary rocker Bruce Springsteen also makes a brief appearance and compliments David, saying, "Involvement. That’s Larry David’s middle name — Larry ‘Involvement’ David.”

Larry eventually appears in court to plead not guilty to an election obstruction allegation, setting up a trial.

In the course of the episode, Larry and Jeff (Jeff Garlin) unintentionally damage a Black lawn jockey and attempt to conceal the incident.

This results in a farcical sequence that brings to mind the name of a certain attorney previously associated with Donald Trump's administration.

Internet rips Marjorie Taylor Greene for crying over portrayal in HBO's show

People on X slammed the MAGA congresswoman for her incessant attention-grabbing antics online including her tirade against the popular show on Tuesday.

One X user remarked: "The people of Greene's district deserve a representative who isn't going to sabotage and embarrass them on a daily basis!"

Another user said, "larry needs to make an episode about this rampage & the jewish space lasers, now."

Another user wrote, "The woman who imploded her marriage by having multiple affairs, stalked & yelled at a young victim of gun violence & got in a screaming match with her rival BoBo is judging the "disgusting values & elite judgement" of Hollywood. That's hilarious."

One user stated, "First, MAGA melts down over Taylor Swift. Now Larry David upsets them with “Curb Your Enthusiasm.” MAGA’s biggest worry should be their political impact. REMINDER: Taylor got over 35,000 new voters to register with one Instagram post."

Another X user claimed, "It must have hit home. If she didn't think of herself as a racist and a redneck she wouldn't have been offended. That's how I think."

"The funniest part is the show never mentioned either trump or magats," another user wrote.

Finally, this user tweeted: "Larry's ALWAYS on point and when is MTG ever NOT triggered by something? She wakes up furious everyday wanting revenge or to impeach somebody!!"
