WASHINGTON, DC: In December last year, President Joe Biden’s son, Hunter Biden was absent from a closed-door GOP-led deposition despite being subpoenaed.

On January 10, as the GOP Oversight Committee continued its investigation, Hunter made an appearance in the courtroom, however, he quickly splashed all over the headlines after he walked out of the hearing after Rep James Comer recognized Rep Marjorie Taylor Greene.

Greene shared more details about the same and talked to the media about Hunter and the hearing, and also claimed that the President’s son “ran away” because he was “afraid of her,” in addition to calling him names like “toddler,” and a “fool.”

The internet has also weighed in on the same with their opinions on the kerfuffle at the GOP-led hearing.

Marjorie Taylor Greene labels Hunter Biden a ‘fool’

After Hunter Biden walked out of the courtroom, Marjorie Taylor Greene spoke to the media, as well as took to her social media accounts to share more details about the same and slam Hunter.

On X, formerly known as Twitter, Greene wrote, “Hunter Biden looked like an absolute joke, a fool, and a toddler having a temper tantrum when he got caught for being in trouble.”

She added, “Hunter ran away from me because he’s afraid. But he’s not just afraid of me, he’s afraid of the truth.”

Greene also shared a video of herself talking to the media where she elaborated more on the aforementioned post.

“Here comes Hunter today, when we’re holding our hearing to hold him in contempt of Congress,” said Greene and continued, “But yet we had President Trump’s kids, came in and sat under democratic congressional subpoenas, questioned for hours and hours on end, but Hunter Biden couldn’t even show up when he was subpoenaed.”

She added, “He can’t obey the law. That is what is being proven over and over again.”

Marjorie Taylor Greene faces backlash

After Marjorie Taylor Greene shared her thoughts on Hunter Biden, the internet was quick to respond as one user wrote, “He didn't run away he just showed you the disrespect you deserve,” and another wrote, “He just doesn’t respect you. I’m quite certain he felt that nothing constructive would ensue from your comments.”

“Big difference between being afraid and not worthy of being respected, Marj,” wrote one user and another questioned, “Why would Hunter Biden give you the time of day?”

Greene continued to face backlash online as one user, “You’re calling someone else a joke? Thats rich, thanks for the laugh!” and another wrote, “Hunter Biden Punked you big time Marge. You are disgusting 🤢.”
