WASHINGTON, DC: Anthony Scaramucci, the former White House Director of Communications, offered his assessment of a few CEOs who had a private meeting with Donald Trump last week, during which the former president was reportedly "all over the map," according to HuffPost.

During an interview on Saturday, June 15, MSNBC’s Alex Witt asked Scaramucci, "Would fears of another chaotic Trump presidency discourage corporate leaders from backing him this time around, or are they coming back around to him?"

Scaramucci answered, "It’s a little bit of Trump-nesia, if you will. I mean, these guys denounced him several times." [sic]

On Thursday, June 13, Trump met with corporate executives including Jamie Dimon of JPMorgan Chase, Doug McMillon of Walmart, and Tim Cook of Apple, expressing his desire for tax reduction.

CEOs who spoke with CNBC during the meeting reported that Trump was "remarkably meandering" and struggled to maintain a "straight thought" throughout the event. Several business executives even appeared to be "shaking their heads" as Trump outlined his plan to lower the corporate tax rate.

Notably, Scaramucci mentioned the CEOs' reactions to Trump during the "Unite the Right" protest in Charlottesville, Virginia, in 2017 and other instances where they "all pulled their support" for him.

He said, "And so, for some reason, now they’ve decided for these little policy promises that he’s offering, they’re going to switch over to him."

He added, "But, you know, Jeb Bush ultimately was right, Alex. He is the chaos candidate, it was a chaos presidency, and I would just remind these people that they weren’t happy when he was president. Yes, they got their tax cuts, but we’ve also ballooned the deficit, and that is going to come home to roost for these CEOs." [sic]

Scaramucci, who has been a regular critic of Trump since serving as his White House Communications Director for a brief period in 2017, said he didn't think the meeting with the CEOs was a "great meeting."

He said, "He tries to put on a big charm offensive to those people that don’t like him. It’s sort of like the bully that’s trying to shine for a moment."

He further mentioned, "He’s better in those rallies where he can talk about electric boats and shark attacks, exactly. He’s way better at that than he would be actually articulating economic policy in front of Fortune 500 CEOs."

Internet agrees with Scaramucci as he evaluates some CEOs who met Trump

Several internet users sided with Anthony Scaramucci after he offered his assessment of a few CEOs who had a private meeting with Donald Trump last week.

Some online comments read, "These CEOs are a bunch of traitors" and "I like Scaramucci, intelligent insight and tells it as it is. And like Cohen, he has rehabilitated himself by calling out trump and MAGA." [sic]

A person also wrote, "At least Mr Scamucci is an honest republican and has integrity! I respect him !" while one added, "You can officially refer to anyone still supporting Trump as, 'Those who worship evil's might!'"

A user also stated, "These people don't care about anything else more than their greed," whereas one mentioned, "CEOs who are supporting trump are going to increase higher prices (don't blame Biden)." [sic]
