WASHINGTON, DC: GOP Presidential candidate Donald Trump's youngest son Barron has stayed away from politics and has not followed in his father's footsteps. The 18-year-old former president's son is a true blue gamer as was once confirmed by his father.

In May 2024, Barron was selected by the Florida GOP as an at-large delegate for Florida at the Republican National Convention which was held in July. However, his mother, Melania's office said in a statement that he had declined to be a delegate.

A source revealed to the Daily Mail in July that Barron used to pass time while in school by playing Clash of Clans. There was not much information provided by the source on whether it is his favorite game or not.

Moreover, in 2018, Donald Trump discussed his son's video gaming habits as he connected the content in violent video games to an unfortunate string of school shootings.

The former president said, "The video games, movies, the internet stuff is so violent. It's so incredible. I get to see things that you wouldn't be — you would be amazed at. I have a very young son who I look at some of the things he's watching and I say, 'How is that possible?'"

Barron Trump is an Adin Ross fan

During Donald Trump's recent appearance on Kick streamer Adin Ross' channel, the ex-POTUS revealed that his youngest son is a big fan of the online streamer.

He said, "My son Barron says 'hello. He's a great young guy, but he's a big fan of yours." Barron went on to address Barron on his channel and said, "What's up, Barron? Yeah, Barron's awesome. He's a good kid. Very tall. Amazing."

Trump said, "He's tall. A good student", to which Ross replied, "Yeah, he's very smart. I'll tell you that."

During the interview, Ross tried to introduce Trump to the world of livestreaming, teaching him how live chats work and introducing him to some famous Gen Z slang.

"W's mean it's good. W means win. W Trump," Ross said. Ross also gifted Trump a gold Rolex watch and a customized Tesla Cybertruck.

Barron Trump attends first-ever campaign rally

In July 2024, Barron made his campaign rally debut in Doral where Donald Trump introduced the crowd to his recent high school graduate son.

Trump said, "Barron Trump! This is the first time he’s ever done it, Barron." He later posted pictures of his son from the rally on Truth Social.

"That’s the first time he’s done it. That’s the first time, right?" Trump said, according to People.
