NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: On the May 9 episode of 'The Ingraham Angle', Fox News host Laura Ingraham dismissed the New York criminal case against former President Trump and said "Daniels comes across as an angry shrew."

The hush-money trial against Donald Trump resumed on May 10 following a dramatic week and Stormy Daniels' testimony, during which she described their relationship in explicit detail over extended periods in court.

Trump has entered a plea of not guilty to criminal charges of falsifying business records concerning a hush-money payment to Daniels, additionally denying allegations of having engaged in sexual relations with her.

Ingraham questions portrayal of Trump's leadership style

"They're trying to prove that Trump must have directed the Michael Cohen payments, because he knew every detail of what was happening in the Oval Office. Is that what they're saying?" Ingraham questioned.

"For years we've heard from the media and Democrats – they've complained that he showed up unprepared for meetings, didn't have any in-depth knowledge, that he golfed all the time, kind of not really there. It's all ceremonial," she remarked.

The inconsistency in portraying Trump's leadership style was not lost on Ingraham.

"But now we're supposed to believe he meticulously tracks and directs every movement in his office? Okay, well, which is it?" she challenged.

Ingraham then turned her attention to the Stormy Daniels saga, a contentious issue that has been used as a focal point in efforts to discredit Trump. "Now remember, [Stormy] Daniels' testimony was totally unnecessary to the question at hand whether Trump approved of the falsification of business records in order to commit another felony in furtherance of it," she noted.

Acknowledging the skepticism surrounding the case, Ingraham reinforced that many Americans view it as a political vendetta rather than a genuine pursuit of justice.

"Look, we don't need to rehash why this case is a farce. You know why it's a farce. Anyone who is honest with themselves knows why it's a farce," she asserted.

"To the extent that regular Americans are even following this, they see this for what it is. This is a papered-over political hit job, further sullied by Judge Merchan's overboard and unconstitutional gag order, which the president hasn't been deterred by," she declared, underscoring the concerns about judicial overreach and the erosion of constitutional rights.

Ingraham's views on Daniels sparks strong opinions

Social media users didn't hold back in criticizing Ingragam's views of Daniels, with many voicing their strong opinions.

One viewer expressed, "Apparently Laura hasn't heard herself talk for most of her life. Quite the projection."

Another shared, "Another woman calling a woman a shrew? That's a term men used in Shakespearean times."

One viewer pointed out, "Says the shrew…"

A follower observed, "@IngrahamAngle is literally describing herself."

One comment stated, "Isn’t that your job description Laura?"

Another comment read, "Oh please @IngrahamAngle Coming from You? The ‘Original Angry Shrew’ ?!! You’re shrewing & lying 5 nights a week. You’re Laughable #TheMAGACrashIsComing."

"Do you own a mirror???" asked an individual.
