LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: In a recent interview with Bret Baier on Fox News, Nikki Haley made it clear that she will not be joining Donald Trump as his running mate in any future political endeavors.

This declaration adds another layer of complexity to the political landscape, as the former US Ambassador to the United Nations distances herself from Trump's political ambitions.

Newsmax Host interrupts Trump speech to affirm 2020 election legitimacy

According to mediaite, Newsmax, known for its conservative stance, made a significant statement during a speech by Trump in South Carolina. Newsmax host Carl Higbie interrupted Trump's address to emphasize the network's position on the 2020 election results.

Higbie declared, The president mentioned in his speech the 2020 elections. Newsmax as a network believes the results were legal and final.”

“I never get tired of that guy,” he said before adding a caveat from a sheet of paper he was holding up. “The president mentioned in his speech the 2020 elections. Newsmax as a network believes the results were legal and final.”

This proclamation follows Trump's repetition of false claims regarding election fraud during the 2020 presidential election. Trump accused the Department of Justice of neglecting to investigate alleged voting irregularities and fraud.

Donald Trump's election claims spark lawsuits and indictments

The former president's baseless assertions gained traction in various conservative media outlets, with false narratives, such as Dominion Voting Systems rigging the election for Joe Biden, circulating widely.

Dominion Voting Systems filed lawsuits against both Fox News and Newsmax for spreading these unfounded claims. Fox News settled the lawsuit last year for a substantial sum of $787.5 million, while Dominion's case against Newsmax remains pending.

Trump's continued insistence on election fraud has faced legal consequences, with the former president currently under indictment in four jurisdictions.

Two of these cases specifically involve his attempts to overturn the election results. Post-election, Trump applied pressure on officials in states he lost to manipulate the outcome. Additionally, he unsuccessfully urged his vice president to reject the certification of the results in Congress.

The intricate web of legal challenges and political dynamics surrounding Trump's post-election actions continues to unfold, shaping the narrative for his political future.

Meanwhile, Nikki Haley's firm rejection of a potential vice presidential role indicates a divergence in political paths, adding another layer of intrigue to the evolving landscape.
