MANHATTAN, NEW YORK: Ivanka Trump expressed her love and support for her father Donald Trump after he was found guilty in the hush money trial on Thursday, May 30. She, however, did not attend a single hearing in the Manhattan court.

Taking to her Instagram Story, the 42-year-old posted a throwback photo of her as a child sitting with the then-young Republican leader, The New York Post reported.

The social media share was reportedly Ivanka’s first public statement since her father’s trial began.

The 45th President was accused of falsifying his business records to pay $130,000 to a former pron star to buy her silence regarding a sex scandal just before the 2016 election.

Donald Trump called the court’s decision ‘rigged’

Following his conviction on all the 34 charges, which made him the first ex-president to be found guilty of a felony, Trump said, as reported by CNN, “This was a rigged, disgraceful trial.”

“The real verdict is going to be November 5, by the people, and they know what happened here and everybody knows what happened here. We didn’t do anything wrong. I’m a very innocent man,” he asserted.

But Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg stated, “The 12 everyday jurors vowed to make a decision based on the evidence and the law, and the evidence and the law alone.”

“Their deliberations led them to a unanimous conclusion beyond a reasonable doubt that the defendant Donald J Trump is guilty of 34 counts of falsifying business records in the first degree, to conceal a scheme to corrupt the 2016 election,” he added.

Ivanka Trump's Instagram story draws flak

Meanwhile, Ivanka’s post for her father attracted some attention online with an X user tweeting, “Yet, she didn’t show up even once. She doesn’t wanna be part of his campaign, but I’m assuming if he somehow wins, she’ll show up again looking for a job and Jared the boychik will somehow become the savior of the Middle East and have every job under the sun (none of which he can do successfully.)”

“But not enough to support him in person…” another user commented.

A third one wrote, “Yeah she loved him so much that she did not show up at his trial--that's a FAKE daughter imho.”

A fifth one sarcastically added, “Love you dad. Visit u in prison soon.”

A comment written below The Post article read, “‘'Daddy, I still love you (r) money.’”

“Why didn't she ever show up?  Because she knew it's all true. She wants to keep this stink off her and Jared,” another comment read.
