Ivanka previously donned an ivory pantsuit from Oscar de la Renta at her father's 2017 swearing-in ceremony, as per Hola! Magazine.
Incoming Vice President JD Vance and incoming Second Lady Usha Vance were also spotted at the same Sunday gathering. Interestingly, Usha picked a couture Oscar de la Renta dress for the Vice Presidential Dinner at the National Gallery of Art on Saturday, for which she faced backlash.

Oscar de la Renta, a brand established by the eponymous late Dominican fashion designer in 1965, has a long tradition of dressing first ladies, as per Daily Mail.
De la Renta, who died in 2014, gained fame when he dressed Jacqueline Kennedy. He also created iconic outfits for Nancy Reagan, Laura Bush, Hillary Clinton, and Michelle Obama.

Several netizens took to social media to bash the iconic fashion house after Ivanka Trump was seen in the jaw-dropping beaded outfit.
An X (formerly Twitter) user wrote, "Bye Oscar de la Renta. I know you won't be cancelled but you are to me, for having no f**king morals."
Another added, "Amazing how this time around designers are more than happy to showcase the fact that they're dressing the Trumps I remember last time around no one wanted to be associated with them."

Moreover, the fashion house's Instagram page was inundated with criticism for creating evening gowns for the women closest to Trump and Vance.
One Instagram user commented underneath Ivanka's image shared on the Oscar de la Renta page, "Bootlicking is never in season," while another added, "Always have loved. Sad to be done with ODLR. I don’t support brands that support fascists."
