Jack Antonoff said ‘I love being married’ a month before reports claimed split from Margaret Qualley

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Jack Antonoff had spoken positively about his marriage to Margaret Qualley just a month before reports claimed the couple had separated after nearly three years of marriage.

The 42-year-old singer and producer married the 31-year-old actress in an intimate New Jersey wedding in August 2023. The ceremony was attended by several celebrity guests, including Lana Del Rey, Taylor Swift, Cara Delevingne, Zoe Kravitz, and Channing Tatum. Recent reports have alleged that Antonoff and Qualley have gone their separate ways.

Only weeks before the reports surfaced, Antonoff spoke highly about his marriage to Qualley during an interview with 'Today' anchor Craig Melvin.

The multi-instrumentalist appeared on the show in May when Melvin asked him if he was "going to any big weddings this summer," in an apparent reference to Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's July 3 wedding.

However, Antonoff avoided answering the question and instead asked Melvin about his own marriage. The broadcaster said he was happy in his marriage to his wife, Lindsay Czarniak, with whom he has been married for 15 years.

Melvin then asked Antonoff again if he would be attending any upcoming big wedding. The music producer replied, "Uh, I hope. Yeah, I hope so, man.”

When Melvin further questioned him about where he would be attending, Antonoff gave an unrelated response, saying, "Uh yeah. I love being married, man. I'm happy you love being married too!"

Antonoff was present at Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's wedding as well as the rehearsal dinner, but he was accompanied by his older sister, designer Rachel Antonoff, instead of Qualley, which sparked speculation about their relationship.

Page Six, citing an insider, reported, "Jack could be very particular about how he liked things. He'd often prefer for things to be done the way he thought was best, and Margaret didn't always feel like her perspective was being heard or given the same weight.”

The source added, "Communication was definitely a challenge between him and Margaret."

Before the recent reports, Qualley had spoken openly about her happiness with Antonoff and their future together.

In September 2023, the 'Maid' star told Harper’s Bazaar, “I am so happy that I found my person. And it's real. It's amazing. It's the best feeling in the world," before adding, "I'm so excited and so at ease all at once."

Qualley also spoke about building a home with Antonoff, saying, "I never made a home at all. I didn't care; I cared about movies. It's really exciting now to be making a home and to have something to care for.”
