WASHINGTON, DC: Representative for Texas's 30th congressional district, Jasmine Crockett, was called out live by a CNN anchor over Democrats redacting Epstein documents to try to smear President Donald Trump with their fake narrative.

The Democratic Representative was immediately placed on the defensive during a live CNN interview after the host presented evidence suggesting that redactions in the recently released Jeffrey Epstein documents were deliberately used by Democrats to push a fake narrative against figures associated with Trump.

CNN host challenges redactions in Epstein documents, citing Virginia Giuffre

The CNN host initiated the intense exchange by citing an email from April 2, 2011, and directly challenging the narrative by questioning the need for the redaction, given the specific victim's public history.

The host stated, "This is an email from April 2nd 2011, Republicans are saying that that victim is Virginia Giuffre as you know she died by suicide, she very the very outspoken victim of Jeffrey Epstein. Here's the email right here on your screen. She wrote a book as you know and she did not accuse him of any wrongdoing, what do you make of that? Can you confirm that?"

Crockett initially used the redaction to deflect the accusation, questioning the Republican claim while also questioning the logic of redacting a deceased person's name.

Crockett replied, "Yeah, I don't know obviously it's redacted who the victim is so I won't necessarily take the republicans' word on who it is that's redacted, and I don't know why they would necessarily redact someone's name who is deceased at this point."

CNN host tells Jasmine Crockett Democrats did redaction, not GOP

The exchange reached its crucial point when the CNN host interrupted and cut off Crockett's defense to clarify the source of the redaction, prompting the Democrat to acknowledge that members of her own party had been responsible for editing the document.

The host interjected at this point, firmly adding, "The Democrats did that."

While conceding the point, Crockett went immediately to the non-partisan goal of victim protection, she stated, "I understand, but I'm just saying like our biggest concern is to actually make sure that we are protecting victims and obviously she wrote a book she told her truth, whether or not she told everything who knows again another person that we can't talk to."

GOP counters Trump smear with 20,000 records

Earlier, House Oversight Republicans released more than 20,000 pages of records on Epstein, saying the public deserved the "full truth."

The mass release amounts to a swift rebuttal after Democrats, hours earlier, published limited emails referencing Donald Trump.

GOP leaders and the White House accused Democrats of "cherry-picking" files to create a false narrative to slander the president.
