'Lies must be called out': JD Vance roasted as he writes foreword to Project 2025 leader's book

WASHINGTON, DC: Vice presidential candidate JD Vance sparked controversy on the internet by providing the foreword to Project 2025 leader Kevin Roberts' latest book, as per Newsweek.

Notably, Donald Trump had denied any involvement with Project 2025, a conservative think tank program aimed at fundamentally altering the structure of the federal government.

Moreover, several Democrats and Republicans have disagreed with Trump when he said, "I know nothing about Project 2025." 

However, Roberts' book, 'Dawn's Early Light: Taking Back Washington to Save America', which is scheduled for publication in September, began to garner attention on X on Wednesday, July 24, as its foreword was provided by Vance.

Kyle Tharp, managing director of Courier Newsroom, posted on Wednesday, "Wow. The architect of Project 2025, Kevin Roberts, has a new book coming out in September about taking over Washington. JD Vance wrote the foreword."

Moreover, Vance also provided a review on Amazon, stating, "Never before has a figure with Roberts's depth and stature within the American Right tried to articulate a genuinely new future for conservatism... We are now all realizing that it's time to circle the wagons and load the muskets. In the fights that lay ahead, these ideas are an essential weapon."

American Bridge 21st Century, a liberal rapid response organization, posted on X, "The Trump-Vance ticket is lying about knowing nothing about #Project2025. JD Vance is close friends with Project 2025 mastermind Kevin Roberts and more than 100 former Trump staffers were involved in creating the extremist policy guide for a future Trump administration".

Several internet users grilled JD Vance as he provided the foreword to Project 2025 leader Kevin Roberts' latest book 'Dawn's Early Light: Taking Back Washington to Save America'.

A user wrote on X, "The lies must be called out, every, single day" while one added, "Wow. Imagine knowing your platform is so dangerous, you have to lie about it."

A person also stated, "So Trump’s VP pick wrote the forward for the book written by the author of Project 2025, and yet Trump is still claiming he knows nothing about it?" whereas one mentioned, "ARE YOU KIDDING ME."

A user also wrote, "Dems need to hammer this as irrefutable evidence of the Trump campaign's deep deep ties to the unpopular Project 2025 agenda" while one said, "Karma baby."

A person added, "Vance is a disaster for Trump" whereas one wrote, "How could they not anticipate the backlash to the proposals, but instead publicize (and horrify) from the roof tops?"
