Jim Curtis says he and Jennifer Aniston 'do a lot of meditation'

On Monday, August 31, Curtis appeared on ‘The Jamie Kern Lima Show’, where he was asked about a special prayer — “I’m sorry. I’m listening. Thank you. I love you” — and if he and the ‘Friends’ star use it to resolve issues.

“We do a lot of meditation, we do a lot of talk. We don’t use this particular prayer. We have. But it’s very easy,” the transformational coach shared.

Jim Curtis explains importance of 'different tools' in relationships

Curtis also went on to share how “different tools” help couples at different stages of their relationship.

“After 24 years, you’re like, I know you and I’m ready for you. When you use this, it lowers defenses. Like, ‘Oh, I no longer have to be armored up for you because we’re on the same team and I love you,’ right? Jen and I have been together a year and a half, so this tool isn’t the first tool that we go to. ... [We go to] meditation, acceptance, understanding. Those kinds of things,” he explained.

The 50-year-old also added that “in the honeymoon phase, your tools don’t have to be like big sledgehammers.”

Focusing on himself and the ‘Just Go with It’ star and their relationship, Curtis asserted, “My experience of her is so grounded and so open and caring and kind and loving... I feel blessed to be in a relationship with someone that is so open-hearted and kind and loving.”

Also during the interview, Curtis talked about Aniston’s friends, who, as per him, are a “group of best friends that are like family” and that he felt “incredibly blessed to be part [of] and welcomed into that family.”

“It really speaks to her and them that everybody is so grounded, so kind. And it’s not just to me. There’s a reason why that whole group and community is so beloved,” he shared.

Jennifer Aniston described Jim Curtis as 'very normal and very kind'

Earlier, Aniston had also spoken about her new boyfriend while calling him “quite extraordinary.”
