WASHINGTON, DC: Jesse Watters attacked Vice President Kamala Harris over her upcoming joint interview with Minnesota Governor Tim Walz

The Fox News host suggested that this choice reflects a deeper issue within Harris’ campaign, that is a lack of confidence in her ability to handle media engagements independently.

Jesse Watters questions Kamala Harris' media strategy and political identity

During a recent broadcast, Jesse Watters remarked, "Her handlers don't even trust her to survive a softball CNN interview. So Coach Walz is going to chaperone tomorrow night at 9."

The conservative political commentator, who previously interviewed Donald Trump and his running mate JD Vance jointly, questioned Harris' political identity and effectiveness.

Watters began by quoting legendary comedian and actor George Burns, saying, "Acting is all about honesty. If you can fake that, you've got it made." He then drew a parallel between this notion and the world of politics, implying that Harris; approach to her presidential campaign resembles a performance rather than authentic leadership.

Watters also posed a provocative question to voters, "Are you gonna gamble our country away on a frightened woman too insecure to tell us who she is?"

He further expressed skepticism about Harris' clarity on her political stance, saying, "Democrats haven’t decided what Kamala Harris believes in. They haven’t decided. Is she a Joe Biden Democrat or a Trump Republican? Is she Joe Biden’s vice president or just a former prosecutor? Is she the border czar or not?"

Harris will sit down with running mate Walz and CNN host Dana Bash on Thursday. This is going to be her first major interview since her ascent to the top of the Democratic ticket after Joe Biden dropped out of the rally in late July.

Jesse Watters accuses Kamala Harris of inauthenticity

On his show, Jesse Watters accused the vice president of being inauthentic and indecisive, stating, "Kamala Harris pretends to be somebody she’s not and doesn’t know what she wants to do until her campaign tells her. When world leaders stood across the poker table from Kamala Harris, they smell fear. They know her tells."

This comes as the Fox News host continues to face fire over a sexual remark he made about Harris on 'The Five' on Monday, August 26.

While discussing the Democratic presidential candidate's crisis management skills and knowledge of foreign affairs, Watters suggested that if Harris is elected president, she will "get paralyzed" in a crisis and generals in the White House Situation Room will "have their way with her."

This comment led to immediate backlash from his co-hosts Jeanine Pirro and Dana Perino, who demanded that Watters retract his statement. Despite their objections, he defended his comments, claiming he did not mean anything sexual.
